Our family LOVED staying here! Amazingly well equipped kitchen. Our kids (and us) adored Clarita’s beautiful lush garden, so spacious and private! A traditional house that felt like home. So lovely, and just 30mins from the Panama border for an easy crossing 😉

Really enjoyed the stay here. We did a week visiting family and the location and facilities were perfect for us. The A/C in the master bedroom was up to the task (gawd it's hot down there!). Geilyn was extremely nice and helpful. If you rent, get an exact set of coordinates for the location. I've rented all over Costa Rica and have found the custom in Costa Rica is "good luck finding us with we are nnn meters from xxx". The wave and google maps directions will take you to the school which is hundreds of meters north of the house. But Geilyn's husband saved the day and waved us down and pointed us in the right direction. I hope to rent this again for future visits to family. It was perfect for us.

This was an extraordinary experience; one of our favorite spaces and trips that we have ever had. The nature is unbeatable. Monkeys and macaws are your close neighbors. The jungle is home, and the energy it provides is nurturing and deeply spiritual. The layout of the house is spacious and open. The beach is private and a beautiful 5 minute walk. Michael is a very responsive host. If you're looking for a peaceful oasis in the heart of Osa, don't miss booking Casa Sombrero.

Absolutely amazing spot! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived ! The grounds were just gorgeous and full of wildlife! We loved the outdoor kitchen which is so roomy and lets you hear all the monkeys and birds! The kayaking near the place was fantastic! We had fun fishing and seeing all the mangroves! We can’t say enough good things about the hosts who cooked many delicious meals for us and were just generally amazing! Room was perfect and comfortable with great decks for looking out over the grounds! Just a wonderful experience in some of the best natural surroundings!

Our group of six, four adults and two kiddos had a nice stay at Jamie’s place! The space is simple and clean and matches the description well. We especially loved the easy access to the river and beach! Jamie was very helpful in letting us borrow tubes and boogie boards and we floated down the river almost every evening for sunset. We saw a sloth on the property and lots of cool creatures in the river. Jamie was very friendly, flexible and helpful during our stay!

Super schönes und großes Haus 5 Minuten entfernt von Puerto Jiminez. Haben hier 2 Tage verbracht und und sehr wohl gefühlt. WLan und Netflix funktionieren super und auch die Küche hat alles was man brauchen könnte. Janina ist immer sofort erreichbar und hat mit Josh jemanden in der Nähe der helfen kann, falls es Probleme gibt. Wir konnten früher einchecken und später auschecken, sowie Flaschen ausleihen. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The location is absolutely amazing. If you surf you’re only about a 8 minute walk to the surf spot. You can walk to many different restaurants, grocery store. Every morning we were woken by different kinds of birds singing. The place itself is very nice. I do have a few negative things, the pillows are super thin, there was not any soap or shampoo (not a problem the store was close), the bathroom is on the first floor and if your wife is like mine who has to pee 6 million times during the night, I got tired of going up and down the stairs with her! The only other thing and it is in the description was no hot water, I thought my wife was joking when she told me this before booking the place. Nope! No hot water, the shower outside water is hotter! Other than these little items, the place is amazing, the host replied really fast when we needed anything, the location is amazing. We felt really safe! The price was great for this place. Just pack an extra pillow and soap!

This is an incredible place to escape to. The beach it sits on is mythically beautiful and Osa provides the best animal watching experiences in the country (or world). The house has everything we needed and most importantly, a very helpful and friendly host. We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was the perfect place to unwind and truly be together as a family. The animal life was incredible. We woke up to monkeys in the morning and playing throughout the day just outside the house. Both john and Oscar were super helpful and friendly. And if you have a chance to have Jackson’s cook- she was incredible. If you’re in for a rustic, full of nature, full family time then this is your place! Also don’t miss out on scheduling a horseback ride with Carlos at finca tropical! It surpassed our expectations and my husband used to guide horseback rides in Colorado. Enjoy the time together and this charming place in Cabo matopalo!

Absolutely loved our stay! The space was clean, quiet, and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing surf weekend. Just a short walk to the beach, we were able to paddle out for a few sessions each day. The casita had everything we needed, including an outdoor shower by the pool and plenty of hang out areas with hammocks and chairs. We felt the property was safe and secure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and stay close to Pavones Point (but definitely the quieter side of Rio Claro).

This is the place to stay in Pavones!! Especially if you’re coming to surf! Right at the top of the point. You can keep tabs on the surf from your deck and paddle out when the waves and crowd dictate. Couldn’t have asked for a more helpful staff. Grounds were pristine, accommodations were great, pool was refreshing. Easy walk across the river into town. Perfect trip, perfect waves!! Thanks again Mili and Kenneth!!

This casita was the perfect spot to relax and unwind! The pool was awesome, gorgeous views and incredible star gazing (and thunderstorms!). Great recommendations by Rolando for the nearby beach 🏖️ that was splendid and with parrots 🦜 and scarlet macaws. A great spot, highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time in Pavones. Casa Azul was in walking distance to the beach. The area is peaceful and beautiful. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Very clean too. Kelly was a great host, very responsive, friendly, offered lots of suggestions of things to do. We were primarily there to surf but enjoyed the hikes that she recommended as well as the boat trip which she arranged for us.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a great setup for our visit and we look forward to using this location again!

This was our second stay with Nannette. The first time we stayed in the bungalow and this time we stayed in the villa. Both are wonderful!! We really loved the extra space inside and outside at the villa, and the pool was a welcome addition. There are so many great touches to discover here... the outdoor shower, an amazing indoor shower, several seating areas to linger and enjoy the property, beautiful artwork, a fully equipped kitchen, I could go on and on. The grounds are maintained beautifully and wild life is visible daily without having to go anywhere. Nannette and her team are great hosts, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We are already plotting our return. We have traveled all over Costa Rica and have found we prefer the laid back and uncrowded vibe of the Osa. Thank you Nannette for sharing your paradise with us!!

Excelente lugar para relajarse y conectar con la naturaleza. Entra cualquier vehículo aunque la calle es empedrada. A pesar de lo privado del lugar, está a pocos minutos del centro de San Vito, dónde hay excelentes restaurantes, supermercados y todo lo que pueda hacer falta. Hay gran cantidad de actividades que hacer en la zona. El lugar estaba impecable y la piscina ideal para refrescarse y ejercitarse en el agua.

We have stayed many times at Daniela’s place. We love going together as a family and enjoying the beautiful climate, garden, and privacy of Casa Bromelia. Can’t wait to return! 🙂

Off a dirt road, just outside of downtown Sabilito is Andres cabins…very secure, very comfortable, and great for bird watching. Woke up to Toucans just outside of my window…as I made tea and listened to forest wake up. This is my second time staying at Andre’s and it won’t be my last. Highly recommend. Also try the Italian restaurant in town…great wines and food!

We found André’s vinca (farm) delightful, from the beginning of the short drive up the lane lined with pines and White Angel Trumpet trees, to the lovely, well-built 2 bedroom cabin and new studio cabin, and walking the beautiful lanes throughout his 20 acre coffee and banana farm. He is very responsive to any questions or requests. The cabins were immaculate, the kitchen was well supplied for cooking (which we did- making the most of local fruits, vegetables and meats) and conveniently stocked with some basic, purchasable snacks, wine, beer, vino, soda and bottled water (note- the tap water is potable, so we used that). Being in the mountains, the weather was pleasant, and toucans, hummingbirds abound. He provided farm grown oranges and bananas, and even a soccer ball to play on the farm soccer field, which is next to a large covered tiki/party area. Best of all, we had the company of Franco, Lily, Lucca and Pancho every day - well behaved dogs and cat. Magical Place to Stay! 🫶🦋

We had a great stay at Steven’s place. He was very accommodating about us checking in early. The cabins are pretty new. Everything was clean and there was lots of space. There was a kettle, which, as English people, we loved! Bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. A very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend.
