Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Costilla County

This area is incredible! Mid April it was quiet and serene - the perfect campsite for our family with a toddler and 2 active pups with ample space for zoomies. Access to great sand dunes is ideal and the views from itself are fantastic. Amanda is an excellent host - communicating actively and clearly; the entire experience was seamless

This heavenly stay was our favorite thus far in the past 3 years visiting the area (several times a year)! It’s no small thing to find a home where a family of 9 can comfortably play & sleep! We knew waking up to that view of Mt Blanca would be magnificent but pictures cannot capture it fully. And roasting smores around the gorgeous fire pit under those Blanca stars is what our Wonder Years with the children are made of! This momma also loved having access to cleaning products to tidy up through the week! I love being able to keep a beautiful home beautiful! This home had wonderful extra amenities like fresh farm eggs & s’more supplies! I also have to include that we saw wild horses up close one morning and an entire herd of deer moving through the valley! We didn’t want to leave! The hosts were incredible, kind and always available. We will look forward to our next stay here!

Beautiful stay! Gorgeous location and the camper was perfect for what my partner and I were looking for. Grill was a great add on and it’s a short drive away from the sand dunes. Patrick was a great host who gave detailed instructions making our check in and our whole stay seamless. Highly recommend and look forward to stopping by again!

for a last minute decision this spot was a gem Affordable and private we left are tent and some things untended a couple of hours and had no issues at all. 10/10 Will recommend to friends.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The house itself is situated with a fantastic view out the front across the plain and the back face the local mountain range making for an idyllic spot. The house itself is very new and nicely appointed. The kitchen was very well appointed while the living and were comfortable and tastefully decorated. All this and close to the great sand dunes park makes it a place we hope to return to again.

Can't say enough about how great the place was for us and our dogs. It was quiet, private, and the hosts provided so much. I was beyond impressed. There was nothing we were in need of as far as amenities go. The responsiveness of the host was amazing as well. We were slightly unprepared for the Sand Dunes this time, but we would definitely stay again to give it another go!

This place was beautiful, had an amazing view of the Blanca mountains. Was close enough to the places we wanted to go and far enough for a peaceful refuge! Thank you so much for sharing your space!

We had a lovely stay! The hosts were very accommodating with questions before our trip and during. It was an extra bonus to be greeted by their beautiful and friendly dogs. It's located in a beautiful and scenic spot. The home itself was very clean, but still has a very cozy feel to it. The home is well appointed with everything you need like towels, shampoo, blankets, even robes! We just stayed one night but could see being comfortable here for many nights. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They even brought over a telescope for us to use when they learned we wanted to enjoy the dark sky star gazing. Will stay again!

We had a great experience, this Chris’ rental has everything you need for a comfortable stay after visiting sand dunes, great bed, kitchen, and having two desks for remote work. The internet was the fastest we’ve ever encountered. A beautiful setting with Mount Blanca in the backdrop. Would love to stay again!
