"Woodfield" Historic Family House w/ Free Parking

LisaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
If I used one word to describe this home, it would be "More" There is more of everything! The house is beautiful! Big kitchen, lovely backyard, comfy beds in big rooms. Lots of linens and towels. Aoife's place has absolutely everything you could possibly need and loads of extras!! Pauline greeted us at midnight and was unbelievably gracious in spite of the late hour. Everything we needed for breakfast was there plus much, much more! My whole family loved it! We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. If we were to go back to Cork, we wouldn't stay anywhere else. This place is a Gem! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

A lovely stay in Cork! Teresa made us feel like we had our own space within her house. Lots of privacy! And a lovely light breakfast to catch up with her on recommendations for the day’s visit. She is also very responsive via message which made things run smoothly in case we had questions. Thank you Teresa!

What a fabulous find! Gorgeous period home, so tastefully styled throughout (the stained glass porthole a personal favourite), impeccably clean and fully kitted out with everything you could possibly need, and more! I happened to mention that I had a toddler, and on arrival there was a lovely cosy buggy in the hall waiting for him…so thoughtful! Marie was the perfect host - helpful and friendly, and made us feel so welcome - couldn’t have wished for a lovelier stay. Highly recommend!!!

This is a very nice, quiet suburb outside cork city center. Spot to park your car, lovely property, family room and garden in the back are really special if you have kids. I can’t praise the host and property enough. This is a place to stay if you want access to both the city and the greater area surrounding.

Alun's Barn -

RichardRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I’m so happy that I found this place. It truly is a beautiful house and in the most beautiful location with gorgeous panoramic views over Cork Harbor. Una was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The guest accommodation was immaculately clean, stylish and modern. I particularly loved the view out over Cork Harbour from both the spacious kitchen / living room and bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower in the en-suite was hot and powerful (which is just what I needed after a long journey). I had a lovely stay and would be very eager to return again. Thanks again Una!

Mountain View House Cottage

TanyaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A great central location for sites in surrounding area. Gave you a peaceful place to sleep and relax. You can hear the stream near by, giving that extra ambience. Rose was kind and gave us a bottle of wine for my birthday. Louie the dog was there to greet you and let you pet him. Rose gave great recommendations for food at Kirby's corner that was 5 mins away. Also, recommended Bunratty Castle on our way to Galway. The castle and grounds are worth seeing. In the morning as we left, she said good bye. Lovely host! Very clean, pristine Air BNB. I would stay there again.
A peaceful countryside scene features cows grazing on lush green grass under a clear blue sky. A spacious home is visible in the background, along with greenery and a well-maintained lawn, creating a serene rural setting.

Ard Falcon, Kinsale, Co. Cork

SethRating, 5 stars13 months ago
This is a small “granny flat” attached to the house of the host. Good double bed and sofa bed in the lounge. Tea, coffee and done breakfast stuff provided. Slightly odd layout with bathroom leading directly into kitchen that might bother some. It’s 15 minutes into Carrigaline and about 10 from Kinsale, though quicker to Kinsale that some of the places actually claiming to be there. Worked fine for us probably best for a shorter trip given the odd layout

Apartment over Rural Country Bar in village

PatriciaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Marion's apartment is as described, on the second floor of a pub. She mentioned that it could be noisy, but it wasn't, we slept very well. We went to the pub for a few pints, and the neighborhood is very friendly. It was nice to wake up and see the lambs outside the window. The apartment was spotless, the kitchen has everything you need, and she kindly left everything for a great breakfast. We would highly recommend Marion's apartment and hope to return soon.

Unusual location in semi wooded raised slightly away and above the owners home, can't see from the airbnb. Outside seating to two sides, plenty of space inside, well appointed and warm, we didn't need the wood burner. Very relaxing stay. Met both hosts and their lovely dog, very welcoming and helpful. Great allocated parking space, would highly recommend this home from home.
