Lake house vacation rentals in Copake

The lakehouse looks exactly like the photos - stylish and cozy. The house looks small from the outside, but we were amazed by how well it fit our family of seven adults and two toddlers. The instructions/guide to the house was clearly written and super helpful, and Vincent was very easy to communicate with, usually responding right away. We were grateful for all the amenities the house comes with. In addition to enjoying the house itself and the gorgeous deck, we also made smores one night in the fire pit and went kayaking with the little ones. The owner provides guests with bracelets that give access to the community amenities as well. The community pool, playground, and little beach were all beautiful and very well maintained. Our little ones especially loved this weekend!

Very rustic, private, peaceful kind of like a camp but with air conditioning and excellent wifi. Bald eagle sat over the lake outside. Kayaks were fun. Tons of great hikes and historical things to see. Town of Great Barrington and Sheffield have great antiquing both high and low end. I would go back any time.

This was a 12/10 experience! My girlfriend and I both brought out two pups and loved every second of our stay. Every corner we turned was a new decoration in the house that caught our eye, so creative and fun!! Soaked up the back yard, fire pit, and water! We will definitely be returning!!

This was my second time staying at Maureen’s beautiful lakeside home and it surely won’t be my last. It’s the coziest, peaceful and inspiring place. Looking forward to future visits!

A beautiful, comfortable house right on the Hudson with stunning views. We loved watching all the life on the river, herons and loons and ducks, as well as boats from tiny crafts to massive barges. There are great hikes just a short distance away. It is a perfect place to rest, write, draw, and make music.

Our family had a lovely time at the Creekside Retreat. We arrived to a clean house with clear instructions for entering. Parking was convenient to the front door. We settled in and played scrabble which was provided by the host in the game cabinet. The second day we enjoyed a great breakfast at a local diner and went hiking about 20 miles away at Minnewaska state park. There was also a walking trail much closer we may check out on another trip. There was a park nearby my children walked to play baseball. Our two dogs made themselves at home. The creek was flooded so we weren’t able to enjoy the deck on it or the boat - maybe next time. The hot tub also didn’t work while we were there but we didn’t realize until later in our stay so it may have been a simple solution. The host generously left towels, blankets, and toiletries but we couldn’t find wash cloths. Wood was left out for the fire. Overall, we had what we needed for a great weekend getaway.

My friends and I had a great time at the Lake House, we really loved being right on the pond and the property was well maintained in and out. Denise is very responsive and had her place set up and provisioned great for a nice weekend stay. The location is also great, close to the Taconic Parkway and a lot of things to do. 10/10!

Really lovely home with gorgeous outdoor space. I thought it looked even better than the photos (which look great)! We visited with two 3yos, and the house was very thoughtfully designed for both the kids and the adults (baby gates, a high chair, nothing breakable on low shelves, etc). We loved the house and would absolutely come back again

A beautiful serene home set up with everything you need. We loved the space, both inside and out. There was a country store right down the road that had amazing food. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck after a great day of hiking. With so much hiking in the surrounding area, we are already looking forward to booking again.

We had a wonderful time and this house is completely amazing. There is absolutely nothing missing! When Tiffany said, "all you need to bring are clothes" she wasn't joking. The person who designed the house was a genius with the master bedroom on one side of the house, the 2nd bedroom on the other side and the 3rd on the 2nd floor. Privacy inside as well as outside. It was a hiking trip for the family and included Kennedy Park, Olivia Outlook and the Great Monument Mountain. After spending the day hiking, the hot tub, playing pool and watching a movie in the theater just ended a perfect day. We didn't realize how close we were to MA and it was bonus to explore Western Mass as well. Thank you Tiffany for sharing your home with us.

Very comfortable house - nice and airy. Great location just outside Lakeville. Highly recommend.

We were so lucky to find this place for a long weekend in the area of Tivoli, Red Hook and Hudson...short drives to each town. In a cabin-like setting, we had everything we needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay, including an equipped kitchen, small appliances, great selection of coffee & teas, plus nice touches such as candles and yoga mats. There is a nice deck and ample outdoor seating, although we had challenging weather and therefore mostly stayed indoors. Heads up that it's a very rural area with minimal street lighting, so arriving at night was challenging (we almost pulled into the wrong house), but nothing google maps couldn't solve. Wonderful place and I'd definitely stay again.

Great Airbnb, I would highly recommend. I appreciate the flexibility on the check in and check out times. The kitchen was very well stocked as well.

We had a friend reunion and stayed at Lakeside and the barn. The Lakeside had direct access to the lake with kayaks. The house was clean, comfortable and perfect for what we needed.

Very pleasant stay at very spacious home. Good value and comfortable. You shouldn’t expect a luxury accommodation for this price, but it was well located (short drive to Rheinbeck) and well appointed with supplies and good coffee, which was a nice touch. The outdoors looked wonderful, however, the rainy weather and bugginess made it hard to enjoy. Overall enjoyed our stay!

Memorable stay in The Berkshires! Nicole's place was cozy and welcoming a great place to relax and unwind after long days of sightseeing and shopping. At night the backyard would be lit by the soft glow of string lights and made for the perfect scene to end every day in the hot tub.

We had an amazing relaxing weekend. The beds are comfy, pool heated, quiet serene area. All around perfect weekend getaway. The house was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed.

We had a wonderful stay at James and Lissy’s house! It was perfectly located for getting around the Berkshires. The house was clean, beautiful, and cozy. When we needed to communicate with James and Lissy they were incredibly responsive and helpful. Every year, my friends from high school and I meet up for a reunion in the Berkshires (we have been doing this annually), and the hope is to stay in this very Airbnb next year, if possible/ available! It was an exceptional Airbnb experience!

We had a great time at Francois & Ann's oasis by the lake. It was so relaxing to wake up, look at the lake, and listen to birds chirp. If you are looking for isolation, this place does the trick, We didn't see anyone all week on the lake or at the other cabins until the day we left. The lake has excellent fishing. With little effort, we caught several decent-sized bass and pickerel right off the dock. The location is ideal. You feel like you are out in the country, but are close to great restaurants in Kinderhook and only 25 minutes from Hudson or Albany. It's also only an hour from Mass Moca and 90 minutes to Cooperstown. Francois and Ann were very communicative and quickly responded to questions and comments.

A group of friends and I messaged Caitlin at 8 AM because we needed emergency lodging for the night of a wedding. She was SO helpful - got back to us quickly and let us in super early so we would have time to get ready. This is a great house, clearly loved and cared for, in a beautiful location. We had such a relaxing afternoon once we settled in. Would love to come back for longer!

We stayed here on our way to Stowe to break up our long drive with an 8 and 2 year old. It ended up being a wonderful mini trip that we didn't want to leave. The house exceeded our expectations in terms of quality, cleanliness, and amenities. And the location was excellent - about 10 to 12 min to the nearest grocery store and downtown with restaurants, Edith Wharton's estate about 20 min away, and Great Barrington/Stockbridge were easily accessible for day trips. We plan to come back for skiing, and to take advantage of the lake activities in the summer. The only downside was the busy road, as mentioned in the listing, but the traffic quieted down in the evening and it didn't affect our sleep at night with the bedrooms located in the back of the house (husband is a very light sleeper; we did bring and use sound machines just in case).

this place is magical. my sisters and I have stayed here twice now, for her wedding and now for mine. both times the home has been clean and the overall experience has been wonderful.

Beautiful house! He loved the boardgames and all the space, since the weather was not great the weekend we were there. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful deck! Would definitely stay again when in the area.
