We had a wonderful Easter getaway at this beautiful Airbnb in Clayton Bay! The home was clean, cozy, smelt lovely and well set up for a relaxing family stay. We especially loved sitting on the balcony watching the sun set. The home is in a fantastic spot — just across from the jetty for fishing, a playground, and a bike/walking track. The water is perfect for kayaks and stand-up paddle boards when the weather’s right. There’s a lovely firepit area out the back which would be amazing for winter stays (it was a fire ban during our visit). Simon is a fantastic host — friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. One small tip: if you enjoy frothed milk in your coffee, bring an electric frother (we brought our own), otherwise warming milk on the stove works too. We left feeling refreshed and so happy with our stay. Highly recommend this peaceful spot for families or anyone wanting a quiet and beautiful escape!

We spent a night at Dalton on the Lake and Denice went out of her way to make it special! The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and located right on the lake. Denice was extremely communicative and welcoming. She made us a dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant as we were getting in late, and had left a loaf of bread baking for us when we checked in. Truly lovely, would highly recommend and would happily stay again!

We had a lovely stay! The place was very clean, well presented, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. A big bonus was how baby-proof it was—it worked perfectly for our 14-month-old and meant we could actually relax. The location is also super convenient, just a short walk to the main street. Would definitely recommend!

A lovely home with everything that you need to make for a very comfortable and relaxing getaway. The property was easy to find, clean and tidy with lots of different amenities that you would need for a stay away from home. The outlook and view of the water with the many different species of birds including ducks, fairy wrens and pelicans from your back door made for some peaceful mornings and evenings. We are all feeling refreshed and renewed for the new year after our lovely time at Sandy and Vish's property.

We have stayed at several Airbnb’s in SA and both agree Rainshadow Retreat has been our favourite yet. What stood out for us was the views, privacy, attention to detail and all the amenities you need. We stayed one night with our small dog who loved exploring the surroundings. The highlight for me was the outdoor bath. It was a very still night, not a breath of wind, so quiet and I could gaze at the stars. A very relaxing and comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

beautiful vacation house with a breathtaking backyard view. You could easily have meals at backyard while day-dreaming overlooking the pelicans at the deck or inside the house. the kitchen is also very complete, including 2 coffee makers, breville coffee machine and pods, soda stream, nutriibullet, cooking equipments, baking equipments etc etc. not to mention all the herbs, sauces and condiments, almost all are all provided. my nephew was very fond with playing pingpong and basket ball, he spent most of the time playing those two games. my husband n bro in law enjoyed bbq and cooking while we were there. cooking at the long pantry with a view was dreamy! Sam & Trent also provided us a welcome basket and a tiny basket of dog treats, dog bags, and wipes for our yorkshire too. well thought out, amazing service throughout. we appreciate they checking up on us on the second day, asking if we need anything else, they were just a message away. all the best. frederika

Olga’s small houseboat was very nicely furnished. Complete kitchen for food prep, large dining area and comfortable lounge with large tv with a very crisp picture. The bathroom and bedroom were suitable. It reminded me of marina life from back in our days as live a board boaters. A short drive to town. Neighborhood was quiet. Olga was proactive and quick to respond.

My guests and I absolutely loved our stay at Daniel’s property, we cannot wait till the next occasion we can stay again! The house was super clean and luxurious, the view was amazing and Daniel provided lots of equipment to use which was a huge plus! My family and my friends had a lovely time in Tailem Bend over the Easter long weekend. Damien's place is extremely well renovated, light, clean and tastefully decorated. The open living area was great for our 2 little ones to move around and play as well as the enclosed backyard. I would highly recommend this place to families. The neighbourhood is quiet and calm and close to Foodland, petrol station and the Old Tailem Bend. Damien was a very responsive and accommodating host. We hope to come back to his place next time we come to Tailem Bend! Thank you Damien!

Cannot say enough nice things about our stay. All amenities were family friendly and suitable for a pair of couples or small group. Everything such as the lake and mini mart is within walking distance and driving to other towns for other activities is easy and well sign posted. An amazing weekend away in Wellington. The Jetty and river view is just awesome. So many Carp were caught off of the Jetty by our husbands that led to many Pelican's coming up to the bank in front of us to eat them - just amazing! Loved the lighting and private cover near the Jetty also. House is very lovely and comfortable with the kitchen catering to needs. We will defiantly be returning to this beautiful spot.

Yvette was so easy to communicate with- always responsive. The house is in such a beautiful location- easy walk into town. Lots of space for all the kids to run wild and play. We had a really lovely stay here and would definitely come back!

My wife and I have often passed though Tailem Bend on the way to Adelaide but have never really stopped to take in the beauty of the surroundings. This was the perfect place to do that we have stayed in many Airbnb in our travels, but this has been truely one of our favourite. First of all it has many things to do for a family, from out door games canoeing, fishing swimming. The accomodation it self is beautiful easily the most cleanest house we have stayed in beds were great. And there are so many small finishing touches on things that give it that next level of accomodation. Our only regret was not having more time there. The area itself is super quiet. highly recommend this accomodation anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away from daily life. Thanks again.
