Ashley's place in Roscoe is a gem. More and more Airbnb's feel cheap and impersonal, run by large management companies and filled with junky Ikea furniture and kitchenware. Not the case here! Ashley's place is both pristine and uncluttered with quality appointments. It was great to have a kitchen that was actually stocked with good pans, appliances, etc. The whole home, which is charming from the outside, has been fully renovated with great fixtures and cabinets, etc. throughout. It's clean, airy and well thought out. The side patio is great, and the hot tub a super bonus. Bed and linens were top quality and comfy. For us, the location was great, too. It's easily findable off of a main (but not busy) road, and just a few minutes from downtown Roscoe where there's plenty of good food. Even for a traveler familiar with the area, Ashley had spot-on recommendations of where to go. We came to fish, and there are iconic drop-ins along the Beaverkill just minutes away.

Even though we had some bad luck with the weather, we still had a wonderful stay. This is such a beautiful home tucked away in the middle of the woods. It's peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. I especially loved the large windows that brought the outdoors in, even when we were stuck inside. The bed in the primary bedroom was incredibly comfortable, which made for restful nights. We’d love to come back, hopefully with better weather next time! Some favorite spots nearby include: Upward Brewery - Great beer/cider and soft pretzel with massive outdoor space. Catskills Coffee Lodge - Loved the iced latte, brie + jam on english muffin and chocolate chip cookie. I could've sat on the rocks by the creek forever. Taylor & Ace - Nicely curated vintage store. Tavern on Main - Delicious mac and cheese and harvest salad Main Street Farm Market Cafe - I liked the iced strawberry matcha and pear cider donut. It was too cold/rainy to enjoy the deck out back.

Stayed for a long weekend with our pup. The house was perfect, they thought of everything! Amazing lake view. 14 minute drive to town and just under 20 to the next town. Plenty of good food, drinks and shopping! Thank you Marzena for being an exceptional host!

My husband and I (along with our Golden Retriever Luna) had the fateful experience of staying in this dream of a home at the end of our honeymoon. We booked last minute hoping to extend our celebration just a day longer and it could not have been a better decision. This is by far one of the best places we’ve ever stayed (and we’ve traveled to some pretty cool places). It made you feel like you were tucked away in the mountains of Japan. The architecture alone is outstanding, the house is a true piece of art. It made us feel creatively inspired, at peace, and made our honeymoon celebration feel extra special. Even Luna felt right at home! We’re so grateful for our stay and will absolutely be back!

Relaxing Catskills retreat. Great cabin with a cool vibe as well as all the amenities you need. Everything was as stated and we had a great relaxing time. The night sky is worth the trip. Lots of places to hike and you are next to the state park which makes it even better. Lots of wildlife so be on the look out. Enjoy

Wish we could have stayed longer, but had to get back to real life. Ed's cottage was super well kept, quiet, and clean. Ed called to assist with check in and to offer recommendations for dining and sights. He left a light on for us and set the temperature so we would be comfortable when we arrived. Really appreciated speaking with him. This was one of the best experiences we've had in the area and we'd love to come back and explore the property when we have more time. Very highly recommend!
