Loved our stay at Cedar's Seaside Chalet. Everything was exactly as described. The view of Lake Superior was spectacular. Loved falling asleep with the window cracked listening to the waves. Our son really enjoyed the sleeping loft with the skylight and video game. We were in Lutsen to support a friend running a 50K ultra marathon, so we didn't spend a ton of time in the condo, but when we did it was super relaxing and we crashed hard! Will definitely be back again!

Another great stay at Chateau LeVeaux! Hard to beat a private rock shore to relax on with a mini-waterfall flowing into Superior (depending on the season/waterflow).

We visit the North Shore every year and this was our first time on the beach, though rocky, of Superior. And boy were we right in the beach. Gorgeous views, sounds and smells. We were there right after a storm and the host was very proactive about a fallen tree and communicated right away. The house is clean, private and warm. We were there in a cold weather snap! We got to bring our pup too and it felt just like home. The water situation takes some getting used to, but ultimately is the same as going for a swim. So we all do it. The views and privacy are well worth. We will be back next year!

I have stayed in some incredible Airbnb’s, but this may be one of the most stunning homes and locations yet. Set on a beautiful private cove hovering over Lake Superior you cannot go wrong. The home was more than spacious and comfortable with incredible amenities! If you find a way to take your eyes off the lake through the wall of glass the cabin has everything you could possibly need! The kitchen is full stocked with every appliance or tool you could want, the bathrooms we exceptionally clean with small to-go items you may have forgotten and of course the sauna was a hit! I have stayed in many beautiful locations on the north shore but this takes the cake and I will forever look to try and book this again in the future when traveling in northern Minnesota!

This was our second time at Deidra’s Tofte home, and if possible - it was even more magical than our first time. Not only is she an amazing host - we basically planned our itinerary around all her wonderful recommendations - but this house is just a gem on the north shore. Well stocked, better than photos, and pristine views of the lake each day. We’ll be back again and again 😊

This house is in Hovland on the North Shore (relatively close to the Canadian border), and the view from the house of Lake Superior is breathtaking. You can just sit there and enjoy it. The home is well-equipped, with a lovely wood-burning fireplace (it made an especially lovely aroma in the house). We also liked the charming river bordering the property, it's literally a small river going through which gives more feelings of wilderness. Easy access to Grand Marais, Lutsen, and Grand Portage, and also to abundant hiking trails, which we really enjoyed.

Carrie was a great host! She was easy to communicate with and very kind! Her home was also even more beautiful than the pictures, if that’s even possible. As a large group we had plenty of space, and her home was stocked to meet our needs.

Very beautiful and comfortable place and setting. Near to Grand Marais but removed from the city. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Kitchen was well equipped. Host had recommendations that were helpful. We explored East and West from Grand Marias so it was a good location for us. We were all pleased and would stay again. Worth the 8 hour drive. Thank you. On both nights of the stay, host reached out to let us know if we stepped outside we may be able to see the northern lights. Before the stay, had several lists of recommendations and things to do in the area. Quick response time and very friendly. The condo is in a beautiful, serene location that is perfect to escape to.

We felt so welcome and at home for our week stay. Beautiful views and the pool/hot tub/sauna/game room is always great for our family! We had an amazing time and will be back!

Great rental! Easy to find, right on Hwy 61, but not loud. We had four ladies so we used both pull out sofas plus the bed and there was still room to hang out in the unit. Sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels are very well stocked! The building itself is wonderful. Pool, hot tub, and sauna were amazing after a day hike. The patio is gorgeous - we brought our homemade dinner out there before the bugs came out. There are stairs that lead to the shoreline if you want to dip your toes in the freezing lake. Even the game shelf in the lobby was fruitful! Hosts were very responsive but we had no issues at all with the unit or checking in. The area: we hiked Cascade River State Park to Lookout Point. A few general store and tourists spots in Tofte. Coho Cafe for breakfast - not a lot of vegan/DF options but tasty food!

We felt right at home in this lovely apartment. The location was perfect for walking anywhere in Grand Marais and a comfortable place to rest and recharge after hiking. The view of the harbor is beautiful. I didn’t want to leave. The unit is sunny and bright we hardly needed to use any lights until the sun went down. In fact the unit has so much natural light you may want to bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in. Thank you Linda for providing such a perfect spot. We hope to return someday soon.

This was a great place for our family, right on the lake. We were close to lots of parks and hiking trails. Quick drive to restaurants and shops. There was plenty of space and the indoor pool was a great spot for our kids.

Wonderful stay for a long weekend. Vienna was quick to respond to any questions and the location was spectacular.

We had an incredible stay with Jill!! The space had everything we could need and was perfect! We ended up using the fireplace on a cold night and it made for such a romantic and cozy ambiance. I loved that the bed was high enough to be able to see the waters of superior while lying down and it was dark enough to see the stars through the window at night. Jill responded right away to our questions and was very accommodating and polite. 10/10 we would absolutely stay here again ! Thank you very much!!
