Family-friendly vacation rentals in Concepción

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb in Medellín for a week, and it exceeded all my expectations. The property looked even more stunning in person, with beautifully appointed spaces that made us feel right at home. Our host was incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. However, the true highlight was the house manager, Lucy. She was the heart of our experience, going above and beyond to ensure we were well-fed and comfortable throughout our visit. Lucy kept the house immaculate and was a constant source of warmth and kindness, treating my family and me like one of her own. Her nurturing spirit made our stay truly special. I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough, particularly with Lucy there to make your experience unforgettable!

Diego & Alicia's place was lovely - spacious and with amazing views of the city. Everything was as described apart from the jacuzzi which is out of order. Diego & Alicia made everything very easy, check in was with the doorman who were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to stay!

It was a pleasure to stay at Juan Carlos’ property. It was spacious, very well maintained and had updated technology. Would stay here again.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Laura’s place! The apartment was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and we loved the thoughtful touches and the comfy bedding. Laura was also incredibly responsive and helpful, providing us with great local recommendations and always being available to answer our questions. We can't wait to stay here again!

Great spot to stay in, heads up the lock turns 3 times to fully get secured, good area and a nice 10-20 min walk to anything you need

excellent! very calm , and amazing environment. there is a small river under the house , everything is so amazing! there is also this neighbor (?) who helps us during our stay , a very nice person with a very friendly dog :) The only problem is that the access is not easy if you don't have a car or bike. especially when we stayed, the road to enter guatape was blocked, so no tuktuk or taxi was on this loop road. From guatape or the piedra, it's easy ( although we needed to pay twice from guatape because the nearest way the road is closed) but I guess in normal time there is no such problem :) anyway it was an amazing experience!

Casa Macondo is a great place to disconnect. It's a good place to go with pets and children, very clean, with comfortable beds and a large fully equipped kitchen. It is a very picturesque house and the weather is ideal. We loved the walks to the beautiful rivers nearby. It's also easy to get there by car. We arrived late at night, it was raining hard and we were surprised that there was no electricity in the area. There was no good signal either. It remained like this after 12 hours. We recommend carrying flashlights and chargers for equipment. Despite that, the kitchen runs on gas and we were able to cook. We had a nice weekend surrounded by nature!

If you are looking for an out of the way escape from the city and a real country or “finca” experience, this is your place. However, I would recommend driving or renting an SUV with decent ground clearance. The place is very easy to find with Waze GPS or Google Maps by searching “Hato the Farm”. No four wheel drive needed, but the dirt road to the place has spots where a low car will definitely scrap bottom if you’re not careful. The dirt road is maintained and used by the municipality and locals, so it’s not impassible. We rented a car at the airport to get there, and everything went well, but if you’re not used to dirt roads and winding roads, this will be a learning experience! :-) The place itself was an open floor plan with plenty of space to sleep 12+ people. Everything was clean and well maintained and the local caretaker (Sonia) was extremely sweet and helpful for all our needs. If you’re lucky and nice enough :-) , she can point you to local spots for swimming and hiking that are off the beaten path and empty of people, but full of amazing views, cold mountain water for swimming, and a true Colombian countryside experience that was enjoyable and as safe as any place I’ve visited. The local tienda (general store) will deliver without cost of delivery for whatever food and drink you need, although tipping the delivery boy is a good idea. The property had many different varieties of fruit trees, which we were invited to pick for super and delicious fresh orange juice in the morning or whatever else you can pick. Overall, staying in Manuel’s place was an amazing and relaxing experience and we will return and rent the place again! Although, we’ll make sure to get a vehicle with higher ground clearance for the road up.

The apartment was very central to everything, 1 minute walk to the main plaza. Very clean, and convenient location . Stayed at the location many times. Diego is a great host, very attentive and accommodating. It was a great pleasure to stay again this year.

Clean, spacious studio, enjoyed the balcony, bed was comfortable, some noice from people partying at pool late night. Has nothing to do with studio, I guess it’s hard to make people follow rules… The kitchen has gas stove, really liked it, I even started cooking after a month in Medellin. Catalina was very responsive, accommodated for my early check-in. I highly recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely return. Thank you! Catalina. Thank you Catalina

This was my second booking at Albertos place within 3 months. I've found that he is a easy host and his home contains absolutely everything needed for a long stay. if you are looking to experience Centro Medellín, then this is the perfect place to stay.

Beautiful apartment, clean and spacious, the apartment is actually bigger than I thought. from the check-in to the check-out everything was great. the building is beautiful, safe, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great apartment for work from home, good internet, has nice desk for work. the apartment has everything you need for long stay. I highly recommend

Hugo is an excellent host, very friendly and attentive to resolving any concerns or requirements. In addition, the butler is always attentive. The property is in perfect condition, exactly as shown in the photos, it is an ideal place to rest and enjoy as a family.

I’ve been coming to Medellin my whole life and have stayed at various places in the city, the view at Carlos’s place is unbeatable. The listing is just as described. My family and I had a great time , I hope to come and stay here again.
