We just finished a 5 night stay at Jan’s place. The cottage is beautiful, extremely clean and well appointed. Jan was very responsive with a few questions that I had. The neighbors were friendly and helped direct us to access the lake with our snowmobiles. We look forward to returning again!

Beautiful trails right next to the cottage. A forest rich in diversity. Ultra bright chalet, open air with all amenities. Quiet, private. Beautiful lake view.

I would like to express my highest recommendation for Le Monarque, where I recently had the privilege of staying 4 days and 3 nights with 7 other people. Having made several similar getaways, I can say without hesitation that this place is the best place x1000! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Melanie, whose kindness and attention to detail immediately highlighted the exceptional experience that awaited us. The accommodation was impeccable, impeccably clean, perfectly equipped and tastefully decorated, offering absolute comfort. The location is simply ideal for tranquility, nature, parking etc. But what really makes all the difference is the unique atmosphere and the exceptional welcome we received from Melanie and her spouse who even came to de-ice the steps and make sure we were okay. Exactly as advertised. Very clean and beverages provided. This unit exceeded expectations. Gave us the rest and recovery stay we needed. Lots of fun to be had with the big TV and Netflix.

We love our stay here! The place was gorgeous and cozy for our weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The host was very responsive to our questions. We love staying here, playing board games and sitting in the hammock chair by the fire (we may actually be buying one of these chairs for our home because we enjoyed it so much). Great spot to stay if you snowmobile. Had 4 vehicles, 3 with trailers. A tight fit. The neighbours met us when we arrived. I don’t think I communicated how many vehicles we would be in.. My bad. Showed us where we could park, a few other tips like where the firewood was for the wood stove (we are rural people well versed in wood stoves) was and we were good to go for the week. Lots of warmth without the wood stove, just us rural people like the heat it gives. The fellow spoke English well, ‘cause my French is still not where I would like it. All great. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful week at Domaine and Jasmin's vacation house. It was comfortable, had everything we needed, and we felt very welcome. We enjoyed walks to the lake and watching the sunsets, the stars at night, and the local birds. Nearby there was some very nice hiking and we also enjoyed Rouyn-Noranda and what the area had to offer. I would return again and the biggest problem was that the week went by too quickly! :)
