My brother and I needed a convenient place to stay to manage some family matters. This location fit the bill. Nice but not too fancy to feel at home - just what we like. Misty was responsive to messages and the place matched the listing. Very quiet neighborhood. If we are back in the area we would stay here again. Thanks Misty!

We stayed here for my son’s wedding and it was perfect! Our favorite part is the back patio with all the beautiful views of the water. The house was clean, kitchen and bathroom stocked with everything you need and location feels So homey and safe. Would definitely recommend!

The home was well stocked with essential items. The private dock was a great place for my entire family to fish, swim and hang out. My family of 5 slept very comfortably with all the space and multiple bathrooms. I definitely would recommend this home to anyone looking for a getaway.

I don’t often leave a review, or want to necessarily go back to a specific Airbnb. But I would absolutely stay again sometime. All ages had a good time. The kayaks were fun. We fished, grilled, played darts and such. It did rain pretty hard for part of our stay but we hung out under the covered areas until it passed over. It was very relaxing out there. Plenty of places to sleep. Lots of nice little details. If you are looking for a river camp experience look no farther. This is the spot.

Loved my time here. The house was super clean, mattress was very comfortable, coffee really good, hot shower, and an awesome backyard to hang out with my dog. I really had a relaxing time here. Kenneth and Nette were fantastic hosts. Highly recommend staying here!!

I stayed here with my five bridesmaid for my wedding weekend and we had the best time! We spent all morning Saturday getting ready and Ada had several places for us to comfortably sit to get ready. The beds were extremely comfy and all of the appliances worked perfectly. She even went out of her way to have a bottle of champagne and glasses for me and my girls set out. Not to mention a basket of snacks which we were so grateful for! It was truly such a welcoming and cozy place, and I do hope to stay here again!

Very cool place slightly off the beaten path of downtown Alexandria, close to everything but located in a nice safe spot. House was great, owner worked to accommodate us last minute which was awesome. Pond and ducks were awesome. 100 out of 100 would stay here again!

The Roosevelt Retreat was exceptional. I had to attend a wedding in Deville and had my 89 yo Mom with me. I didn’t want to go all the way to Alexandria, and was very surprised to find such an accommodating place much closer. My thanks to Karyn for everything needed was there and she was prompt to answer questions I sent. Will recommend for sure. Thank you Karyn.

We loved staying here! It was quiet and close to lots of eating options and stores. The place was clean, tidy, and had amenities available, which is always a plus! David's home had everything we needed for a great stay. The beds were comfortable and the fenced in back yard was great for our pups. It is in a nice walkable neighborhood. There is plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. We spent some time touring the plantations and the beautiful Natchitoches Historic District, seeing the Sweet Magnolia movie house, St. Augustine Church and cemetery.

This home was cozy, comfortable, and felt just like home; it had everything you needed. The host were easy to reach, responded promptly, and were very kind. The rooms were nice and the beds were easy to fall asleep in. I loved how each room had extra blankets and a fan. The extra seating allowed my extended family to gather for brunch without feeling cramped. Overall, the home very lovely and peaceful; I will be booking again.

We were just passing through from the Gonzalez outdoor expo and needed a place to stop and rest. We were just girls traveling and it was very nice to have such a safe space to stop. Daniel was so responsive and made it so easy to book and helped us out in every way that he could!We will definitely use this spot as a halfway point on our way back down to Lamar Dixon. If I could have given it 10 stars I would have!

Such a cozy place to stay. If you are looking for a four star hotel, then stay in one! If you are looking for a quiet, private, peaceful and comfortable place to stay for a reasonable price then this is it. Everything you could need is already there. Only a 10 minute drive from downtown so that was great for us. The king size bed was very comfortable for me my daughter and dil! When the TV wouldn't come on Ambre got right on it and Robert installed a brand new 65" the next day! We highly recommend "Natty Nestle White" Thank you once again Ambre, and Robert!

The location was convenient to Fort Johnson, located right outside the Maple gate and just about 15 minutes to Leesville. The location was peaceful and private, surrounded by lots of trees. The home was clean. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with supplies. We enjoyed our stay here and the hosts were both kind and responsive.
