Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Colchester County

This was the perfect choice for our family. My daughter with chronic illness felt safe. My niece with difficulties sleeping, slept. Lots of people skied/snowboarded. All ages enjoyed the spectacular outdoor campfire. George provided all the extras…footwear by the garage so no one had cold feet playing ping pong. We felt spoiled and enjoyed the time together, making irreplaceable memories. Thank you, George!

What a lovely spot! We went for our Annual Girls Weekend and it was perfect. The house was clean and cozy. Lots of space and free of clutter.

Ce logement est un pur bonheur ! La maison est superbe, extrêmement bien équipée, super agréable avec une véranda idéale. L'endroit est en pleine nature, on voit la mer de l'étage et la région est magnifique. Kate a été très prévenante, nous sommes arrivées avec un gros orage et elle a de suite communiqué avec nous sur les conséquences de la météo. C'est le logement le plus chouette de tout notre séjour !

What a little gem. We came across this listing by accident and booked it on a whim. What a treat! Ryan reached out before checkin with helpful instructions and was very responsive... but we didn't need a thing because this place is perfect. Cozy, clean, and very well appointed. We enjoyed a blazing fire, hot tub under the darkest, clearest sky, and home made meals in the kitchen that had everything. While the area is quiet and somewhat secluded, there was plenty to do in the cabin (puzzles, games, and a basement with pool table, table tennis, and foosball). We did a hike a nearby Drysdale Falls. We are already thinking about our next visit :)

We have stayed at Wendall's place twice in both of his units. Obvious care has been taken to select furnishings that work well with the space. The hot tub is huge hit with our bowling team. Place was well organized, tidy and clean. Wendall has always responded promptly. Look forward to out next stay.

This is our second time returning here. Place is awesome. Janine is great to deal with. Clear instructions, place is spotless with great views. She often leaves you a bottle of wine and snacks for you stay as well, along with 2 4L jugs of water. With how great the outdoors is, the inside is so nice it makes you want to stay indoors. Great price for a great location, will definitely be booking again for another weekend getaway.

Super happy we booked our stay it was warm and comfy from the second ya open the front door nice quiet location witch is a huge plus for sleeping! Will for sure be booking again!

A great little spot for a couple of days away. Very quiet and isolated setting but close enough to town that everything you need is only a few minutes away. Lovely grounds to explore. Very basic accommodations but super clean and equipped with the essentials. Excellent value for the price. Host and grounds staff were friendly and responsive.

Had a wonderful stay. Perfect place to unwind after a long drive and recharge. Very peaceful and private. Had everything we could need and more. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at Heather’s place. It was a beautiful area. The beds were super comfortable and the wood stove made the chilly night super comfortable. Heather was a great host, she was really proactive with great information prior to our arrival.

This tiny cabin was the perfect getaway spot for my pup and I. It’s extremely hard to find an AirBnb this cozy that allows dogs. Everything was so well thought through: from fresh coffee cream in the fridge, to doggie bowls and wet wipes. And the BED… omg the bed. The area it’s in is so beautiful and tranquil. Outdoor swing and patio area were a huge plus. Will come back!

Our second visit to this little slice of heaven. The weather was a little unfortunate, but it did not stop us from using the hot tub. Looking forward to our next visit.

My second stay in the last two months. Safe to say this will be a repeat location. The space is cozy and private. Great amenities and a quick drive into town for restaurants, shopping, and scenic walks. Can’t wait to visit again.

We decided after a busy day of viewing homes to treat our self to a little getaway for the night and came across Mike’s spot. Well it did not disappoint! It was even better than the photos! We both walked and said “Wow!”. It was peaceful, private, cozy and welcoming. We had a great night listening to the rain hit the roof and enjoying this great space. It felt just like home. We would highly recommend this spot and we can’t wait to return for a longer stay. Thanks Mike for being so kind, responsive and a great host!

We loved our stay at Rolf’s cottage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and more (2 adults, 2 kids). We went skiing at nearby wentworth, we went to the brewery in tatamagouche, we had an outdoor fire, and of course enjoyed the hot tub. Wonderful place. I highly recommend!
