We have stayed here before and loved it so much we had to come back. The surrounding area is beautiful! There is a lake within just minutes of a walk. Annie is a great host! She was always quick to respond and very, very helpful.

The Refuge is always our destination when we visit the Bemidji area. Annie has created a beautiful pristine home to share, everything you need & more is available, and the setting allows a wonderful escape into nature! It wasn't our first and won't be our last visit! Second stay here and I almost hesitate to give a review because it's a secret I'd like to keep to myself for the particular week of the year I've come up! I don't want someone else to snag it for next time! ;) Beautiful, clean, practical, excellent location if your intention is to enjoy the parks.

The Tiny Cabin is nestled among lush trees, with a pathway leading up to its entrance. Tall windows reflect natural light, while an air conditioning unit is visible on the side. Rocks border the path, enhancing the woodland setting.

This place is perfect if you’re looking for a getaway from the city. It was quiet, peaceful, and exactly what I was looking for. I ended up staying during a record-breaking cold snap but the wood stove, separate toilet and kitchen, and pre-lit walkways made it feel like glamping! I even braved a quick snowshoe walk on the trail behind the cabin. I will absolutely be returning here, during any season! Truly a wonderful escape.

There are not a lot of options in Bagley, but if you have a group of 5 or more, this is the only place to stay. Daroo's is right downstairs, and you are close to everything in town. Wendy has gone above and beyond to make the place comfortable with multiple AC units to help keep the place cool, lots of space, and great furniture, which made it a comfy and relaxing place to stay.

The kitchen is designed with modern cabinetry and sleek countertops, featuring a gas stove and stainless steel appliances. Open shelving displays dishware, while natural light enhances the airy atmosphere. The space connects seamlessly to the living area, promoting an inviting and accessible cooking environment.

Our family had a great time to relax, it was beautiful and clean they had all basics and very well maintained organized! Our favorite was the craft room! Our kids enjoyed doing a play, making clothes, and the most fun one was their closet full of game boards. Fun place to get away from the cities

Wonderful, new home in a beautiful setting out on country roads south of the town of Shevlin. A great place to get away from it all!! It was fun watching the cows around the house and very peaceful. The house was the perfect size for a 2-4 people, but more if needed. Everything you need is in the house, it is very clean, and the host was wonderful, checking on us and very quick to respond!

A modern kitchen features wooden cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, including a large refrigerator and microwave. A window allows natural light to illuminate the space. Pots hang from a rack above the countertop, while a coffee maker and other essentials are neatly arranged.

Northern mn log cabin getaway!

This is a unique property, which is part of our fourth-generation family-owned farm. The cabin is newly remodeled, it was built in the late 1990's. The exterior walls are an 8 in square cut log. We have updated all rooms on the main level. This cabin has the feel of an old rustic cabin in the mid of nowhere, but has all the luxury of a new home. Currently it is a beautiful 2 bedroom cabin with 1 bath. It is nestled on 397 acres with the nearest neighbor a 1/2 mile away, and only 5 mi from town!
