Vacation rentals in Clay County

On the occasions when I find myself having to go to Vermillion, I always stay here, and I doubt I will ever stay anywhere else in Vermillion, because undoubtedly everywhere else in Vermillion is inferior to here--this is, for me, the best place in Vermillion, and has become my favorite place to stay. It is charming and comfortable, rich in bohemian aesthetic and fully functional, secluded on a quiet street yet within walking distance of everything. I would not be surprised to learn that it is the exact geographical center of Vermillion, and even if it is a few blocks off from that, this place remains the center of my Vermillion.

A beautiful country home filled with all the necessities! A home away from home with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets right off the back patio. We felt safe and peaceful our entire stay and the home is equipped with everything - a great accommodation when family is gathering together! We loved the ample space of the entire home and of course, country life gave the kids lots of space to run and play! We will be back!

Great place. Heart of downtown Verm is truth. Thought put in to what makes for a comfortable stay. Spacious bathroom with 2 sinks. Lots of towels. Main space organized to split kitchen eating area with easily cleaned flooring from living area with plushy rug and carpet. Sectional couch w firm cushions. Plenty of cuddle blankets and fire place. Loved having accessible thermostat to adjust to our liking. Added bonus. Attached to event venue. Looking forward to our next stay

We enjoyed our stay at Valiant. The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and spacious. The view was great. It was easy to come and go without feeling like we were inconveniencing anyone. Friendly host. Overall a very welcoming experience!

We have stayed here more than once, and it is definitely a favorite in Vermillion! We love walking to the Main Street with all of the restaurants and shops. Having the bedrooms upstairs makes it easy for people wanting to hangout downstairs with a movie to not disturb early sleepers. We used the grill and make a big dinner for our son Friday night before their Saturday football game- the kitchen had what we needed and dinner was delicious! The hosts are so friendly and communicative! We will be back!

Great place to stay, was nice and cozy and she was very good about communicating that she was In a different time zone and gave me all the info needed in case I couldn’t get a hold of her! We will definitely book here again!

Great place to stay if you are traveling to Vermillion. Kris's house was quiet, had all the amenities needed, super clean, and made for a very relaxing stay. Kris responded promptly to a couple of questions that we had. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Kris!
