Vacation rentals in Clay County

it was a short stay, but the place was very welcoming! Honestly probably one of the most welcoming airbnb's I've stayed at so far. She provided us with a little welcoming bottle of wine & a smore's kit! The patio that goes out to the lake was gorgeous! I wish we could have stayed longer. I think it would feel very cozy in the wintertime.

Great little apartment in downtown Spencer. The hosts were very hospitable and left a nice letter giving a little more information about the property. Nice place for the money spent. Would definitely book again!

We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the animals! The area was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and enjoying the sunny spring days :)

Location awesome for exploring Okaboji and the area for things we wanted to do for our family vacation.

Great, inexpensive stay in Spencer! Came in town for a graduation. We were surprised that food, coffee, a park, and a card/comic store were all walkable for us! A few minor things come with an old building, but were clearly explained, including a note in the room about the dehumidifier, A/C, etc…. would stay again!

We felt immediately at home when we checked in! There’s plenty of space and never felt cramped. We did travel with our dog and he loved it too! There’s public land that is right next door. However, it was hunting season so I had to be more mindful. I heard good things about the general store down the street- but we ended up getting pizza one night from Bully’s (there in Ruthven) It was a lovely stay and would recommend staying here! Melissa is a kind and generous host.

Beautiful charming home! Everything we needed we found. Kitchen even had cast iron pans. Comfy beds, lots of space, basement area was a bonus! Would recommend!

Nice stay. The surrounding area was nice and peaceful. We loved the fire ring and games. It was very relaxing.

We took 3 of our grandchildren to Arnold’s park , this was the perfect place to stay , affordable, clean and safe , just a short drive to the park ! We arrived later the first night and after communicating that with host , he had airbed and sofa pullout set up with bedding on it !! Directions were good so was easy to find . We could not figure out a remote for TV and they came and helped with that right away ! That was so nice ! Would absolutely stay here again ! Thank you ! Awesome place and host !
