We enjoyed staying in this cozy little home. The house was perfect for it little family! We enjoyed the sunrise view on the lake and the deer in the evening. Chase was a great host and responded very promptly when we had questions. We will be back!

Jan & Jack place was personable,felt like we were at home. Well stocked, attention to detail. The place was well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the fishing station set-up was awesome! We stayed here for a fishing tournament and there is plenty of parking and a garage. The place was clean and comfortable with extra amenities not usually found at other places. We would definitely recommend staying here for peaceful relaxation.

Wonderful stay as always! We had so much. Mark is always friendly and very easy to get a hold of if you have any questions. The view is beautiful and the house is always clean. Perfect for fisherman! Bait and tackle store right down the road. Can't beat it!!!

Such a beautiful place! I work remotely and started my days this week sitting in a cozy recliner in the living room watching the sun rise over the lake 😍. Great view of the main lake and a great dock. We were able to drive to the bottom of the hill which made the trip to the dock much easier. BEAUTIFUL porch with hot tub and lots of seating.

Joy is a great host and has a great property. This is not the first time I’ve stayed at Southern Comfort and hopefully not the last. I can’t stress enough what a “food desert” the area is. I highly recommend brining all of your own food and drink. The very few and far between “restaurants” in the region are absolutely awful and so is the nearest “grocery store”. Other than that, this is a great place to get away for a few days.

If you’re thinking about booking this place, just do it! The house is so spacious and clean! It has everything you can think of just about that you would need for your stay. The front porch has 2 rocking chairs, but that’s not where the magic happens. The back porch is nice and shaded with lots of room to sit and spread out. We sat out there in the dark one night, and the stars were just magical! Not only that, we saw 4 big deer come out right beside us. Will definitely recommend and stay here again! Instructions to get there and in were easy, and the host was very friendly and got right back to you. Thanks for some wonderful memories for us!

Beautiful property on Lake Eufaula. There is a lot of nice extra touches, such as fire pit, fishing rods if you choose to fish off the beautiful dock. Washer and dryer came in handy as we were on the road from escaping Hurricane Milton. All the neighbors were lovely when I walked each day down the street. Had a full kitchen, which we were extremely happy with so we could cook our dinners. Our host was very lovely and kept us informed. Eufaula was 14 miles from the property, which is a lovely town with great restaurants and beautiful old homes. Perfect property if you own a boat and like to fish.

Our family had an amazing stay! The house was super spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to relax and enjoy. We especially loved the screened-in back porch—it was the perfect spot for morning coffee or winding down in the evening. The covered dock was ideal for keeping our boat protected, and the open area next to it was great for fishing. You really can’t beat how close it is to the lake—it made everything so convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway by the water!

Our stay was memorable. The home was so accommodating to all our needs. The kitchen is so user friendly. Lots of counter space for cooking. The view is breath taking especially in the morning. I enjoyed a cup of coffee on the dock as the sun came up. Nice place to enjoy peace and quiet with a good book or time with God. The back deck was enjoyed by my grandson and all my children as we enjoyed our breakfast with our beautiful view of the lake. Thank you Andree. We will be back to make more memories!!

New place to stay3 weeks ago

We had a great weekend of fishing. Had 5 of us there for two nights with plenty of room, a well stocked house that was exactly as described and just like the pictures. Great communication, clean, has a great dock, well lit, a full fish processing area on the deck including a large ice machine. We all had a great time, were very comfortable and don't forget plenty of parking for trucks and boat trailers. I would not only recommend this home we are already talking about coming back next spring and know where we will book our house reservation.

We had a wonderful stay! Owner gave very clear instructions on where to park, how to enter, and was very responsive. Upon entering, the house was very clean and all amenities from home were available. The location is absolutely perfect, peaceful, and provides easy access to the water. We felt right at home, and definitely plan to return this summer. The owner was so kind and we are so grateful that they opened their home to us. 10/10 experience!

Charming Abbeville Home w/ Private Boat Dock!

We needed a place to stay temporarily while we remodeled our house and this place was perfect. It was clean, everything was in order, and the host was responsive and friendly. Our kids had plenty of room and we had a great time taking advantage of the back porch and fishing off the dock. If we ever need a place to stay again, this is absolutely where I will stay. We couldn't have been happier with our visit. Highly, highly recommend.

Georgia Shores is a lovely, clean, mostly quiet, cabin on the lake. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Overall, we had a nice time staying here. Things to note at no fault of the owner: being on a lake there are lots of flying critters. Bug spray may be your friend :) There are three dogs in a pen next door. Best to stay out of their line of sight for peace and quiet.
