We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment with lovely views from the balcony. It was very well equipped, comfortable and clean. Susanne was an excellent host who gave us lots of helpful information prior to our arrival. Thank you Susanne and we will be highly recommending to friends and family.

We had an amazing stay at Rose Cottage! We went as a group of 6 for my stepdads 70th birthday and we couldn't recommend this place enough! The hosts were so friendly and the place was incredible! They had many recommendations and we would definitely come back again in the future. Piper's Inn near by has the best seafood chowder we've had in all of Ireland so far, and the cottage itself was so quaint and lovely! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in the Irish countryside!

we stayed in Gillian's lovely large house for 3 weeks and entertained various family members, from my 94 year old Mother to my 11 month old grandson. The house is in a great setting and close enough to Shannon airport to enable us to pick up our guests within 20/30 mins the views of the lake from the patio were lovely. The large family kitchen table was the focus for relaxing mealtimes where we put the world to rights! Weather was the normal mixed bag of Irish weather - but can't blame Gillian for that! Overall I would recommend this home for a relaxing revitalizing break.

We had a wonderful stay with three young kids. Such a quick drive to downtown Doolin and the ferry and the cliffs! Highly recommend!

Christine and Tom are great hosts. My son and I had a wonderful and peaceful time at their home. Upon our arrival, we didn’t have a car, but Christine and Tom made sure we had enough food in the kitchen. After a long journey, we were very tired. The next day, Christine helped us arrange a car, and not only that, they even drove us to Shannon Airport to pick it up. We were truly touched by their kindness and generosity. I highly recommend their place. If you’re looking to get away from the daily crowds and enjoy some absolute peace, this is the perfect place. Couldn’t ask for more. Samira & Rhys D’Cruz

I had an absolutely wonderful weekend at the rented house! The property was everything I hoped for and more—spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The house had a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it easy to feel right at home. We especially loved the well-maintained outdoor space, which was perfect for enjoying the fresh air and relaxing in the evenings. The location was ideal, offering both privacy and proximity to local attractions, making it easy to explore the area while still having a peaceful retreat to come back to. Communication with the host was seamless; they were very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Overall, it was an unforgettable weekend, and I’m already looking forward to planning another stay. Thank you Fred for fantastic weekend.

Great short stay at Cathals place. It was clean and comfortable and as described. Communication was quick and easy with Cathal. Would stay again. Nice walk into Killaloe restaurants along the lake. Would definitely come back.

A great place to sleep and relax in a quiet neighbourhood. A full kitchen to cook your own meals in, a comfy bed and an adorable guard dog/playmate Oreo keeping the yard in order. Stayed here for 2 nights and it was absolutely perfect.

This is a cottage furnished with great taste and style, hidden away in a peaceful country lane. It feels like a well-maintained home. Raytus is happy to respond to queries.

Excellent venue and base for a family get together. Already know the area so we instantly relaxed and settled in . The area is amazing.

The cottage is in a rural area, very beautiful and quiet, with woods and meadows nearby; it is spacious, with a large living room and a lovely veranda overlooking the lawn. Sally was a helpful and very courteous host. It was a perfect stay.

We had a lovely stay at Audrey’s house, every thing was as expected, very clean and spacious,outlook to front through the glass sliding doors looked out across to the park . We were met by Paul who showed us around and said we were to contact him if there were any problems of which were none, we have been going to Mountshannon for 26yrs now, it is a lovely wee village and the people are so friendly, we will definitely be back

The cottage was magical!

Janice’s place was peaceful, remote, and in the most beautiful setting. From the homemade challah bread, to the cozy woodburning fireplace, to the in-home sauna and bathtub, this place was a dream! Built like an original shepherds cottage, so you really get a true Irish Experience. Hands-down would recommend this place for the home itself, but also for the wonderful hospitality of the hosts. A good location to take day trips from two different points of interest.

Margaret was friendly and met us on arrival. Good local recommendations given. The house was warm, very clean and cosy. A beautifully restored old cottage in a lovely location. We would happily stay again in the future. 5* for everything from us.
