what a beautiful peaceful place to stay...thankyou for the lovely cheese board and wine and crusty bread and bacon and eggs we have stayed in mintaro many time and this b&b was amazing will definitely stay again❤

10 of us had an amazing stay for a 50th weekend getaway. The communication from the host was spot on, and the property was beautiful. Sitting in the pool and spa surrounded by wide open spaces and vineyards was incredible. Would have stayed a month if we could!

We were a group of 8 friends having a catch up and golfing weekend in the area. Driving up to the Homestead you knew you were in for a great weekend. I huge fan of the architecture and the era and we were all very impressed. Large rooms to spread out, large kitchen with all you needed to cook up a feast and a bbq outside. Beautiful lawned grounds and rose gardens. The 7 bedrooms were all a good size and beds comfortable. 3 Bathrooms (2 ensuite ) were great and plenty of hot water. Only had one problem we couldn’t get the TV to work ( the boys were disappointed couldn’t watch the football). Price wise each couple paid what we would have paid for two nights at a nice hotel but this option gave us all the room we needed to gather together and really enjoy the company. Would stay there again in a heartbeat and highly recommend. I will be sharing photos with family and friends. Thanks for a Wonderful stay Nick and Alexander

An awesome place with a spectacular pool. Great location just off the Main Street of Clare.

Although not renovated, the charm and comfort of the house, the ample space and lovely bedrooms, linen and bedroom views made it a delightfully comfortable stay… great garden spaces, and peaceful, striking landscape views. A 5 minute walk to the tasty Hill River wines cellar door and duck pond! Thank you.

Staying in burra to do the self guided Burra tour, this accommodation was available and fitting of getting into the spirit of the tour. We enjoyed our stay here in the middle of winter, the combustion heater and reverse cycle air conditioner kept the lounge and Mbr toasty warm, whilst slightly increasing the temperature of the rest of the house, some fire wood was supplied. All up we enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if returning to burra. Communication from the host was great, making check in easy. If you are after accommodation that has some nostalgia, history, with antique decorations with a touch of early period correctness with some modern touches the this is a great stay. Really pleased we chose this accommodation to stay in whilst in Burra and would stay here again. All up a pleasant stay, great accommodation, neat n tidy, quiet, great town with amazing cafes, “must try st just cafe amazing” also cook-o-burra however this is for sale so may change. Thanks hosts.

Such a homey feeling 2-bedroom unit, within walking distance of the YMCA and local restaurants, without being in a built up area. Tucked away in a quiet little street, with nothing but the sound of nature to wake up to. Janine was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and made this humble home feel like my wife and I had always lived there. Have saved this for any future bookings, and will recommend Beare Street to anyone looking for a place to stay that’s as wonderful/welcoming as the host.

Loved our stay at the Burra train station! Absolutely beautiful. Loved the wood heater in the evening. Communication from our hosts was great. Was sad leaving such an historical accomodation ☹️

Second visit to the best accommodation in the Clare Valley. Beautiful, immaculate, quirky and so well designed. Two massive King bed areas at each end with beautiful ensuites. This place can't be beat!

We had a fantastic stay at Yvonne and Glenn’s place. It is the perfect blend of traditional cottage and modern amenities. It felt so homely with lovely personal touches such as breakfast, fire place ready to go and a sweet treat. The garden is gorgeous and outdoor bath was so relaxing. We loved walking to the Main Street and parks near by.

Rachel's place was amazing, comfortable, clean and all the amenities as set out in the listing. Little additional touches (quizzes, lollies, recycling station) added to the overall feel. Great location for getting around Clare. Rachel was so helpful in her communications.

Our Stay at White on Wright was superb! Sue was very helpful and provided clear instructions. The hand written welcome chalk board was a beautiful touch. The property is well situated with ample room inside and outside. The kitchen is fabulous with plenty of room to cook for a big group. We loved it.

Great accommodation with good outdoor area and close to town including supermarkets and cafes. Accommodation highly recommended.

We have a relaxing couple is days at Ross and Gail’s place. The location is excellent. Set in the beautiful historic town of Mintaro and a stones throw to the Magpie and Stump pub - which offers a sunny beer garden and great food! The accommodation was very comfortable with lots of lovely touches. The bath (with candles and bubble bath) was a welcome addition after a day cycling the Riesling Trail. Plenty of firewood and a bottle of red. What more can you ask for l! Ross was a fabulous host and cooks a mean breakfast. We felt very well looked after but also had privacy. We had planned to take our dog with us as dogs are allowed, however we became aware after booking that dogs cannot be left inside unaccompanied. Whilst a large yard is available for times when you do need to pop out without your dog in toe, we felt this wouldn’t work for us. In the end we decided to change plans and leave him at a boarding kennels. Something to consider if you are planning to bring your dog.
