Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Circular Head Council

Three couples and one single stayed at the Stone House for 3 nights. With the slow combustion wood heater and plenty of wood the house was very cosy. We each had delightful bedrooms, sufficient privacy, good laundry, great family area and well-equipped kitchen. The spacious bathroom in the adjacent 2 bedroom bungalow was quite adequate for wheelchair use, which we required. The power went out one night due to weather conditions and there were candles, matches etc to make life easy. Frances kept us quite well informed with local knowledge. The nearby Marrawah Inn has great meals.

The photos don't do this place justice - proximity to the beach is outstanding. Comfortable and so very homely, perfect to switch off and enjoy the sound of crashing waves and watch a beautiful sunset

The cabin had a fantastic view, very comfortable and clean. Every thing you need and a very helpful host. Would highly recommend!

It’s a lovely house- super clean. Nothing to fault. It’s my first time booking Airbnb. I just wished Airbnb could be a bit cheaper.

Wow - Stanley was a great place to stay. Abbey's Spa Cottage was spacious and a great mix of modern appointments and quaint fixtures. A cup of tea on the front verandah, overlooking the sweeping views of beach and farmland was sublime. We saw plenty of penguins from the observation deck at the nearby beach, the walk up the nut was a heart starter/stopper but only takes 20 minutes or so for awesome views. The cafes and restaurants were top notch. We are already planning to return and staying for much longer. The North West was a revelation to us and we have many wonderful photos and memories from our April trip. Stanley and Abbey's Spa Cottage was a perfect stay.

Our stay was better than what we expected! We arrived late in the afternoon and was greeted by Maggie the border collie. She almost guided us to our accomodation, and what we saw took our breath away… a clear, unobstructed view of the entire town of Stanley and the Nut. It was amazing being on the top of a mountain and having such a view. We arrived inside and the house was so homely, it immediately felt like a farmhouse accomodation and there was the right amount of clean surfaces and farmhouse art (old photos, an antler, books) to help us get lost in the atmosphere. The bathtub overlooking Stanley was incredibly too! We spent each morning having a coffee and watching the sun wake the land, and enjoyed lighting the fire each night. This was the first accomodation that my wife and I spent on our honeymoon and it was literally perfect. Walking the farm with chickens to your left and cows to your right was amazing. We will be staying here again, no question!

stayed for 4 nights very nice place everything you need to enjoy your stay. lovely quiet surroundings with good walking and a very short walk to the beach. would highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed.
