Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Chowan County

I have one word for this place and it is AMAZING! Everything you see in the pictures is exactly how it is in real life. The view was unbeatable and all of the amenities were top notch. My family and I made so many beautiful memories during our stay. We loved her house so much I extended our trip a day just so we could stay for longer and Elizabeth had no issue letting me stay another night. I truly couldn’t have picked a better place for our vacation this year. No complaints! 10 out of 10! You will NOT regret booking with Elizabeth and staying in her wonderful home!

The house and property are even more beautiful and peaceful than the pictures show. The views are fantastic. The house is very large and open. Master bed and bath are gorgeous. We took out the kayaks and canoe for an amazing excursion on the river. I hope we have an excuse to visit again. Everything was clean and welcoming. It feels 1000 miles away from civilization, but walmart, food lion, KFC etc are short 20 min drive away.

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Maureen‘s house. It’s on a nice quiet street in a good part of town and close to Elizabeth city and things you may want to do there. Love the big backyard for my dogs. Beds were super comfortable. I felt right at home and will definitely come back whenever I’m in the area.

Like the description, it is a peaceful paradise! Outside has beautiful sunrise, and amazing open water views. We took great photos just form the front yard. Inside has artistic decorations. It is truly a unique property. The three-night stay is just too short for us to enjoy all the amenities and to have enough time to talk with Alan and Nora. Will come back again!

We enjoyed how close to downtown EC the house was. We felt right at home. The house was clean. It was a nice quiet neighborhood. Kristin was great with communication. There was a chirping smoke detector when we arrived and Kristin got it taken care of quickly. We enjoyed Hoppin John's restaurant, Totally Thai, and Kraken Coffee House. Enjoyed walking downtown, on the trails the Dismal Swamp State Park, and at Fun Junction. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

This AIRBNB was exactly what I needed. It had sufficient sleeping space and was very clean. The home was warm an inviting, beautiful decor and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Tam was super helpful in trouble shooting our outdoor plug ins for our boats for the event sending guys over to help us fix it late one night. Very nice place and we enjoyed our stay!
