It's ideal for spending a few days relaxing. In summer, in addition to taking advantage of the cool temperatures, it is the ideal base for exploring the area's various hiking trails. In winter, a short walk away is a small ski lift ideal for families with children and a cross-country ski slope. More challenging slopes and hockey rinks are a 10-minute drive away.

If you are fit and looking for basic, off the beaten track, traditional & peaceful with stunning views this will surpass your expectations. Comfy bed, hot shower, forget the hairdryer, cook on the hob or bbq, buy groceries before you arrive, walk to the dairy amidst flower meadows to buy cheese & milk, enjoy cows with bells, marmots, deer, endless butterflies, the mountain views and walks. I loved the swing! Take walking boots, comfy slippers and a good book. I cried when we had to leave, it was just so beautiful.........a real gem. Gianni was kind and friendly and his place had a simple family warmth to it.

Quiric house is very comfortable and been renovated with very good taste and local knowledge. The kitchen and the bathroom are of very good quality. The garden is easily accessible from the house and offers great views of the surrounding mountains. The flowing sound of the river is a constant companion. The house lies in little hamlet allowing for a sense of community but also of privacy. There is an outdoor barbecue and plenty of space to eat outside. The wonderful path leading to the Efra cabin and lake starts next to the church just 10min walk from the house. The Verzasca River is 5min walk from the house. Beautiful Sonogno is only 2km away and can be easily reached by a rel flat walk along the river. A restaurant pizzeria is 5min walk away. Overall the house and the location were perfect.

We slept here for 2 nights, we were in transit to Italy. For this, it was a wonderful house! Everything was super clean, new and tidy. Everything was thought of. We came here with our toddler (3yrs) and toddler (1yr). They had a wonderful time in the large room with all the toys, while mom and dad had a drink on the balcony. Really a lovely cottage. In terms of environment, not so much to do for us as a family. 2 nights were more than enough. Elias and his wife were both super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended

It was a very nice stay in nature from A to Z. We were there with 3 children, it has enough space and the house had everything you need. The nature, tranquility and views are particularly noteworthy. We felt very comfortable from the beginning. Romano was always helpful and proactively asked if we needed help in any way. He was there for us. We will be happy to come back. I spent almost 2 months in Claudio's two-room apartment and everything was exactly as advertised. A comfortable accommodation with all the amenities you need for a carefree stay. Impeccable cleanliness and very responsive host. A 5-minute walk from the bus stop to move around the beautiful surroundings of Leventinese without worries.

The kitchen features a blend of modern and rustic elements, including a traditional stove, sink, and a dining table with chairs. Natural light enters through the double doors, enhancing the warm wooden decor. A basket sits on the floor, adding to the cozy atmosphere.

We used the property for a two-week climbing holiday in Chironico. The apartment was well equipped and cozy. The location directly in the center of Chironico allows easy walking to many sectors of the bouldering area. We can't wait to visit!
