You can stay a night or two or a week with all the conveniences of home. This perfect getaway has many highlights like: a fully stocked regular-sized kitchen, W/D in walk-in closet, plenty of storage, large shower, two queen size beds (one regular, one sofa bed), and areas to dine-in or dine-out on the patio.

We love to have this place where families can come out and get away from the rat race of life and enjoy being out in nature. Guests are welcome to join us for whatever activities we are doing during your stay whether its working in the garden and harvesting fruit, or caring for the animals and milking the goats.

Clover's cabin is a very cozy little place on Straight Mountain on a very curvy road. Update: We now have WIFI. Beautiful view in the winter, you can see for miles. Lots of tree coverage in the summer, which brings privacy. It sits about 200 feet from our home. A nice quiet place other than the animal noises. You can hike right out the back door. We had another great stay at Eagle’s Nest! The house had everything we needed, and the lake view is beautiful. We enjoyed the outdoor and indoor games, kayaks, and fire pit. Looking forward to next time!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Cedric was an incredible host who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. I can’t recommend this place enough and absolutely plan to come back! Cedric—if you’re reading this, I’m genuinely sorry for forgetting the fresh uncut watermelon I left in the fridge by the kitchen. Also, I dropped a bouncy ball that rolled down the left side of the driveway toward the back near the raft—feel free to keep it, lol. To anyone considering a stay here: book it. You won’t regret it!

The Red Cabin at Lay Lake

Absolutely loved the peace, quiet and seclusion of the cabin. View from deck overlooking the lake was beautiful. I caught a few fish from the dock. Just remember you will be in the country and there are bugs so bring your bug spray if ya plan on sitting on the deck. The cabin was nice and clean and had all we needed for our 2 day stay. I would recommend a suv or truck for the incline from gate to property down to cabin. Mr Bert was very responsive and informative on place to check out. Majestic Caverns was amazing and the little gas station/restaurant 7 miles from cabin had the best breakfast. Only thing I would recommend an update on is both beds (me & hubby had to sleep in separate rooms). As mentioned on another review about the AC wall unit, you can't close bedroom doors if it's hot and if I booked during summer I would bring a fan to blow air in bedroom but other than that it was PERFECT and highly recommend this little piece of Heaven on Earth!!
