Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Chichibu District

Wonderful people who make guests feel right at home. I arrived late on the first day and was still allowed to check-in. Not only that, they made me dinner and allowed me to sit under their warm kotatsu (in my opinion every house should have a kotatsu but that's just me). We talked daily about a variety of topics, they were never lacking in conversation and were quite friendly. They would say goodbye when I left and welcome me back when I came back to the house. They had a nice little diagram with ideas for a self-guided tour, listing activities and points of interest. The house was always spotless. They were very responsive to my dietary concerns and checked with me about what ingredients I needed to avoid. And the meals they cooked were fantastic!

Thank you very much for being flexible with our sudden change of check-in time. While maintaining a purely Japanese atmosphere with nostalgic touches such as tatami mats and sunken kotatsu, the kitchen and bathroom were clean, spacious, and easy to use, and the whole building was packed with comfort, making it a relaxing space.I was concerned about the cold in the Japanese-style room, but I slept well because the floor heating and heater were good. The host told me about the area around the house while actually looking at the scenery, so I feel that I was able to learn things that I could only discover by visiting the area. I didn't get a good look at everything, such as the furniture and structure of the house, so I'd love to visit again.I want to get revenge on the living room drone software. Thank you very much.

It was a beautiful space as pictured.It was nice to be able to lay out the futon and sleep.Everywhere I looked was clean and very relaxing.The person who accompanied me was also happy and said it was "really good", so it was the right choice to choose this place.Thank you very much. It was all there, but it wasn't all there, so I had fun cooking, thinking about what I could do with this cooking utensil, why I needed that, and how I could substitute this.Thank you very much.

It was a little difficult to live in the mountains, but there was a waterfall and hot spring nearby, and it was a good place to stay where you can relax and feel nature!

Very beautiful peaceful neighborhood, the locals were all very sweet, satoshi was very responsive and helpful!! Would definitely stay here again

Recommended accommodation There was a clean, large room and three baths, and it was comfortable.The feather duster and pizza oven were also fun. The bedding was clean, but it was very thin, and it was a shame that the tool for putting pizza in the oven was broken.

There were 3 combini shops nearby (7-Eleven and 2 FamilyMart), several bars and 3 restaurants with rich food. Sometimes in the evenings the customers of the Bars did make some noise but it was minimal what was heard and it was for a short time. It's a 3 minute walk from the subway station, so it's very convenient. The only two bad points would be the shower is very small, if you are a wide person you are going to struggle a little at the time of bathing, and the other that is not related to the house is the distance to the center of Tokyo, which is approximately 1:30 hrs away using the semi-express lines of the metro, but with the cost-benefit that transportation time is acceptable. Personally I would stay with Nomad again.

We had a nice time and slept very well in the amazing beds. The hosts even gave us a late check-out, which we appreciated greatly. However in our opinion the room is a bit overpriced as the accommodation itself is quite simple.

Yaeko is one of the nicest Airbnb host I have ever met, dispute a little hiccup at check in, she made every effort to make things right and to make our stay comfortable. She even brought Sake for us to enjoy. Room is very comfortable, very nice undertable heater and blanket heater. I will definitely stay again when we are in the area next time.

We are very much happy with our stay in Kat’s places. We got 2 listings and both I highly recommend. We appreciated that both have washing machines with provided detergent so we were able to wash our clothes. We were also able to cook and eat easily because all the cookwares, utensils, glasses (even the cooking oil) are provided on both listings. Enough toiletries are also provided for our almost 2 weeks stay. Very convenient because it’s near the station. The only thing that might need improvement is the shower - either too hot or too cold sometimes as a bit hard to set the right temperature. But still 5 stars for us. Great place. Convenient at all. Masa-san is so responsive. We had a pleasant stay for 3 nights with 1 infant. Its close to highway drive to Niigata for snow and Tokyo for leisure. Its about 300-400 meter to train station but as we are driving own car so we not yet try. Terima kasih Masa-san! 🇲🇾 🇯🇵

4 rooms, 2 toilets, 3 bathrooms, washing machine, very full of 10 people to use, neat environment, fully furnished, good price, very satisfied.

This flat is really well located, being very close to Kawagoeshi train station, a very handy Family Mart and central Kawagoe. It also boasts all the amenities needed for a very enjoyable stay. What's more, Kohei-san is an excellent host who is always very helpful and quick to respond to any questions you may have.
