Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Chesterfield County

Churchill is a beautiful area with close access to downtown and other areas of Richmond. The home was pristinely clean, spacious, comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. The beds were supremely comfortable and the bathrooms clean and well decorated. Note that this area of Richmond is hilly, hence churcHILL. So the home has some steps to the entrance which are a little steep, but can be completely manageable for those without mobility issues. Just note that a large wheeled suitcase may be a bit more cumbersome. The home also features a security system which made us feel very safe and secure overnight as we were not wholly familiar with the neighborhood.

The house was charming and comforfotable. Loved the kitchen where we spend most of our time with friends and family in celebrating our son’s graduation ceremony. The accommodation was just as expected worth the price. Love how it was walking distance to place and my son’s apartment. Sarah and husband were very responsive to our needs. I cannot complain other than saying great job on the house. Looking forward to future stays. Thank you!!

Richard went above and beyond to ensure that my family was comfortable and at home. He was highly communicative and responsive and the information provided before and during the stay was extremely helpful. I booked this home for family who visited the area during my wedding week and, as a local, can say that the house is in a prime location between parks and the river park system and a vibrant shopping and restaurant district. A fantastic stay in a well provisioned, unique space that is meant to be enjoyed!

Spent 2 weeks here with German Shepard, we loved the house, great setting, neighbors are very nice, we walked our dog and he loved all the deer & the overall setting. It’s quiet, house is spacious, clean & safe.Hosts are responsive and courteous.

Kate went above and beyond as a host. Upon checking in we found everything we expected plus she included a few extras that we really enjoyed as a family. The space was clean, comfy, and my son loved that there was a park across the street as an added bonus!

The Hermitage on the Hill was the peaceful and warm and inviting home our family needed. A great place to meet for spiritual rejuvenation. Jennie Ray was a superlative host and provided all the comforts of home. The outdoor spaces were more than the pictures could relate. Can't wait to comeback later this year for the next opportunity to enjoy this lovely nest. No need to doubt just how perfect this hideaway is. Please do not miss out.

We enjoyed our stay in Byrd Park! The home is very well stocked- has everything you could need and access to laundry. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t cooperative, but the short walk to the lake is ideal. There was ample off street parking the whole week we were there as well. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of clean towels provided. We stayed here while we had to move out due to a home renovation and it felt very homey and comfortable for our family of 6!

We had an absolutely great day. This home is so well appointed and clean and comfortable! We definitely hope to return. The hosts also helped make our stay extra special with great recommendations and great responsiveness.

We loved staying at Nadine's place! Great location that is walkable to a lot of local things to do. The neighborhood itself is beautiful. The apartment was exactly as described and was quiet and peaceful. Loved having the snacks on hand. It was a great place to stay for a weekend. Nadine was super responsive, and even messaged me when she found my phone charger that I had left when we checked out! Highly recommend staying here - we'll be doing the same next time we're in town.

The apartment/condo is just as described. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots/pans and everything else I use in my kitchen. That was a treat. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The home was quiet and easy to come and go from. There is an electric fireplace in the master bedroom which made the room so warm and cozy. The parking was perfect, right outside the door and we never had a problem getting a spot. Chandra’s communication was punctual and very helpful. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday and it was so festive as she had a beautiful little Christmas tree with lights and ornaments and a wreath on the door; it made our Christmas feel more like home since we had to travel. The place was wonderful and highly recommend to other guests.

We love Church Hill, and Christine and Derk’s place was perfect for us for the weekend. They were very thoughtful, from having milk and creamer in the fridge, to leaving us a personalized welcome card that was incredibly sweet. Their home had everything we needed and then some. Beautiful space with lots of character, and in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

Amazing place perfect for a couple traveling. Very clean, location is top tier! Everything is just a few mins away. This bnb gives you access to all amenities- pool, dog park, roof top, garage parking. Literally the Airbnb best experience. 10/10 recommend

Great cozy space for a weekend trip! My friends and I went to Busch gardens for the weekend and wanted a quiet yet affordable and reasonably close location for the park. Casey was very attentive with our questions about getting in (it was all operator error aka me 😳😳) and any other inquires about our stay. The location is on a quiet street with an amazing coffee shop that is directly behind the Airbnb. We will definitely be back!! Casey also offered dish soap, hand soap, detergents, an extra toothbrush and toothpaste, along with a few more things in case they were forgotten.

This place was WONDERFUL!!!! Clean, quiet, organized and comfortable. We had everything we needed for my husband and I to enjoy staying there in order to visit my extended family in Richmond. I was born and raised there but my left at age 23 though the rest of my family stayed in Richmond. The location at the airbnb was within walking distance of EVERYTHING!!! I would love to stay here from now on any time I am visiting family there....or even just to visit the VMFA as well as other places!

This space is lovely and affordable for the Richmond area. Lisa is super friendly and helpful, 10/10 for both the Air B&B and host.
