Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Chester County

I feel lucky to have discovered "White Oak Retreat" for our 3-night visit to Lancaster to celebrate my son's engagement. Our group, which included four generations aged 3 to 84, all had a wonderful time. It was impeccably clean and well-stocked. We couldn't have asked for a better Stay, and Lindsay is an amazing host.

Indescribable peace, serenity, and splendor! Cody was above and beyond in being accommodating and responsive! I cannot stress that enough. The house is perfectly designed and furnished! The pool and hot tub were inviting and wonderful! The nature, sunrises, sounds of birds chirping...No need to bother with packing, security lines for planes, trains, and automobiles for a getaway for me anymore ! Being at this house was no different than taking some far away trip. It had everything a resort would have without the fuss and muss of travel and people! My travel companion could not join me, so I was by myself! I got to experience true tranquility, peace, and mindfulness! I felt safe and secure. Only recommendation, is to give instructions for the A/C and washing machine, but I figured it out. Internet was great speed for working. I clearly would highly recommend a stay at the King's House, even for a queen or princess! Thank you Cody and Suzanne for a wonderful stay! One word, fabulous!

Genine and Mike were great hosts. It was lovely to have picnics near the lake and the guest house was cozy.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully decorated home. The property is peaceful and scenic, with a lovely creek and walking trails right outside the door—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket and the cozy touches throughout the house that made it feel like home. There was a bit of noise from the nearby parkway, but the host had a white noise machine available, which helped a lot and showed great attention to guest comfort. Annette was incredibly kind and responsive, even offering us some great local recommendations when our planned event was unexpectedly cancelled. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway with a personal touch!

What an absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment I arrived, everything was above and beyond my expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable—truly a home away from home. The attention to detail was so thoughtful—plush towels, a well-stocked kitchen, cozy blankets, and even local snacks and coffee to welcome me. The host was exceptional—friendly, responsive, and clearly cared about making sure I had the best experience possible. They provided clear check-in instructions and great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in the area. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to everything I needed. I left feeling rested, relaxed, and already thinking about when I can come back. If you're considering booking this place—do it! One of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had.

We have stayed several times at Ruth’s place and have absolutely no complaints. She and her husband are wonderful hosts. The house has absolutely everything you could need for a relaxed pleasant vacation We would highly recommend this Airbnb location! Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful home! We enjoyed our stay very much! Very peaceful home and we all enjoyed watching the farm animals across the street!

Rose is a the super host of super hosts. She provides clear instructions from start to finish and really cares about the comfort of her guests. The apartment is spotless and in great shape. The neighborhood is peaceful and on a very quiet street away from traffic. This is our second stay, and we’ll be back again next year!

For one quick night it was a nice quiet stay. Owners were quick to respond and very informative. We will definitely be staying here again hopefully in the near future.

Aaron's home was in a beautiful location and had a peaceful surroundings.. It was close to a wedding venue so we could hear that when we were outside but not while we were inside. We met Aaron and his dog on our way back from a walk with our dog. Aaron was very friendly and gave us some tips about different things in the area. We would definitely stay here again the next time we go to that area.

My stay at Mark's place was unforgettable. The place felt brand new, was spotless throughout, and had a great modern touch. Mark was friendly and extremely responsive with any inquiries I had throughout the stay. Fantastic location, walking distance to main street, hiking trails, parks, and a short drive to the grocery store. If you are looking to stay in Phoenixville, you won't find a better host than Mark.

This place was our first Airbnb experience and it exceeded expectations. The apartment is clean, very nicely decorated, modern, and homey. To add to that Linette surprised us with snacks, plastic cutlery, paper plates and paper bowl options, as well as real plates for the choice. We were able to use the combo toaster oven/convection oven to cook some chicken for lunch so that was nice. To add to all of this our car experienced a huge hiccup upon departure at 6:45 am and Linette and her husband hurried out to meet us (although we both hoped it would be on different circumstances), and helped us with what we needed after YouTubing haha. The little farm with chickens, a baby goat named Sully was just the icing on the cake. Our daughter loved it as did her cousin whom we had with us as well. They are 15 to provide reference. So it was fun for all. THANK YOU again.

Wonderful experience, I really can't say one negative thing. Beautiful farm located in Amish country. My wife and I loved petting the calves, dogs and kittens. Wilma had cookies, bread, milk and eggs for us. Can't wait to go back!

Torri's place was immaculate and beautifully equipped with high-end amenities nd furnishings. Would highly recommend.

We were looking for a last minute family trip to Lancaster for a train ride and to visit an Amish farm. We were traveling with our 4 children under 5 and Dorothy was extremely accommodating. She offered us fresh milk from their cows and kept it raw by special request due to some of our kids lactose intolerance from pasteurized milk. The fresh bread and jam, eggs from their hens which we could see outside our kitchen window, made the homestead life seem so simple lovely and enjoyable (I’m sure it takes a lot of hard work to keep up with - they do a phenomenal job and I was so grateful to share a small moment of that). They provided a crib and an extra mattress on the floor for our kids. The space was cozy, very clean and we felt right at home. It rained for a little while we were there and Dorothy had legos and books available which the kids enjoyed. When it wasn’t raining we were able to walk their beautiful property. The kids really enjoyed the tree swing, playground and trampoline.

Truly a fantastic getaway! The property was perfect, surrounded by nature and a nice drive to downtown Pottstown, numerous restaurants, and historic attractions. I'd highly recommend visiting the Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site and walking around nearby St. Peter's Village. The home is just incredible! The natural light, beautiful woodwork, kitchen, amenities, everything - it's perfect for a vacation. It's fun having the arcade across the driveway. There are plenty of games downstairs, a fireplace, two types of fire pits, and the main room is nice for relaxing. The hosts are excellent - I mostly communicated with Ari throughout my stay. From the start of the booking process to the end of the trip, Ari was very responsive, incredibly welcoming and cordial, and helpful. A host can really affect the quality of the stay, and I couldn't have been happier with the communication. Overall, I'd highly recommend, and personally I hope to be back. This listing is a gem.

The Cabin is like something out of a dream book!! This place is just so wonderful and so beautiful. My room was absolutely "the best". Cozy and spacious. Mattress & bedding is like sleeping on the clouds!! We loved every room. It was safe and it was very very clean. I just cant express how much I loved staying there. I would most definitely tell people of this "heaven" in the woods. It is so peaceful, the birds are cheerping, and its just so quiet. This the perfect weekend serene getaway. Such amazing and warm host, so we had the most delicious chocolate chip muffins welcoming us. This is an absolute wonderful place!! Must try

Absolutely beautiful property and home. Extremely clean. Gracious and welcoming hosts. Our family had a great time. Had everything we needed and more. Including homemade chocolate chip cookies on the table when we arrived. Would go back again for sure.

The cabin was simply adorable and the back lake views were amazing. The back porch is also very cozy. We had a great time gathering and celebrating with family for my sons UD graduation. There was plenty of room for all 12 of us. However, although there were 2 full bathrooms, only 1 had a shower. This was hard to manage in the morning for the amount of people we had. However overall we loved this house and would do it again in a heartbeat.

What an amazing home. We shared the house with another family when in the area for a soccer tournament and it was perfect. The game room and hot tub allowed our worn out players to relax and recharge after the game, and the peaceful setting allowed the adults to relax as well. It was very comfortable, both inside and out, and David was a very responsive and gracious host. We could not recommend this house more.

An amazing private retreat and a refreshing change from my typical hotel stay while traveling on business. Convenient to local restaurants and shopping, but felt like a true escape from civilization. Had a unique working retreat surrounded by nature. Host was wonderful and responsive, and created a relaxing and comfortable experience.
