Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Chester County

Better than expected. Troy's place has everything you need. Although the place itself is not situated in a super private area as its right across the university and its right up against the road and sidewalks. So you'll see lots of folks walking to and from their destinations but all good. Everyone seems to mind their business and its very tranquilo. Definitely nice to sit out on the porch or get some sun in the backyard while you watch kiddos play around. Troy's communication is great and answer's any questions you have. Even though its stated in listing that there is someone there in a separate private living space on property, you would never know lol. We didnt find out til our last day if someone actually was there, they are so quiet. You have all the privacy you need. Beautiful home, lovely area and just overall it was a great deal and find as we visited during a sad time. Thank you Troy.

We enjoyed our stay here at Rachel’s cottage..The place is warm and cozy.The fireplace was very nice to have on during the evening.The cottage was immaculate too. The bedroom and bath upstairs were so warm and inviting. We found the location was also convenient. And a thanks to Rachel for the special treats and snacks! Plus, if you forget something, no worries. The cottage is very well stocked! Thank you to the hosts for a wonderful stay!

Excellent stay! Super clean, tons of personality in this home. Truly one of the coolest Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Tons of space, great for larger groups. My toddler loved exploring every book and cranny of the space, which was great since the weather was rainy and we had to stay inside. That said, huge yard with a fire pit and kids slide that we'll have to enjoy next time. Host was extremely responsive and kind. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We had a great time.

Our stay at Chris & Claudia’s place was amazing! Everything was clean and there were so many beautiful details from the wall decor to the bathroom amenities. It fit 6 of us very comfortably. We loved their book collection throughout the house! We used the hot tub and it was the perfect temperature and beautiful outdoor area. It’s a great location because it’s close to all the activities in Lancaster! Would definitely recommend a stay here!

This was our second time staying in this sweet and quaint location. I highly recommend this location-the hosts are very proactive and provide all the extras to make a lasting impression. The location is very private with walkable gardens and wood out back. You can hear the highway in the distance but it does not detract from the peaceful environment.

This home was spotless and well maintained, our host was top class , and her husband was very supportive to us as well , I will be returning for sure , the hot tub was very pleasurable and the surrounding area was very safe , I truly loved my stay and I can’t wait till I visit again thank you so much Edna 🌹

Love visiting the Ronks area. The house was just as described, very neat, clean, with great vistas. Only recommendation I might make would be to install a folding door in the entrance to the main bath. We WILL stay here again!! Tonya was not only extremely proactive she also made sure that we were able to contact her. We very much enjoyed our stay, we WILL be back!

Took a trip to the Lancaster area with my mom, and our stay at Kathryn’s space was nothing short of wonderful; very clean, smelled fresh, spacious interior, and lots of privacy. Definitely will book this space in the future and highly recommend for others traveling to this area.

Friendly hosts, nice place, reasonably priced.

My friend and I were in Lancaster last minute for our friend’s probate. I reached out To Olivia and Dylan and they were super kind and responsive. The place was beautiful and so cozy. Would most definitely recommend!

We stayed at Aaron’s on short notice due to a problem in our house nearby. Aaron was very flexible and accommodating even on such short notice. The surroundings were quite peaceful - enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the morning. Everything we needed was there and the cottage and location helped settle us while we continued to deal with water damage issues in our own home. Great place to just relax and chill.

Best recommendation we can give is that on our next visit to Philadelphia , we want to stay at Thomas' location.

Our stay was too short as we were just traveling through but it will be a destination next time. The accommodations were wonderful and the surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful, I could have sat on the deck all day. Wilma was a gracious host and the eggs, bread, milk and treats were delicious. My 8 year old son loved all of the farm animals, especially the barn cats who were actually friendly. Wilma and her son took the time to show us around the farm. We will definitely be back!

We had a marvelous stay at Elvin and Dorothy’s! The apartment was so clean and comfortable! And the farm-fresh eggs and milk and butter left in the fridge for us was so thoughtful, same with the jam and fresh bread! Truly we had such a delightful stay, the animals all stole our hearts. We will remember this place as a peaceful, happy sanctuary for years to come

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. It is just as described and how it looks in the pictures. Perfect for a romantic and peaceful getaway. Susan was super responsive and clear with the instructions. I will definitely consider this cabin again if I’m looking for this type of stay! Thank you!! :)

Truly a fantastic getaway! The property was perfect, surrounded by nature and a nice drive to downtown Pottstown, numerous restaurants, and historic attractions. I'd highly recommend visiting the Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site and walking around nearby St. Peter's Village. The home is just incredible! The natural light, beautiful woodwork, kitchen, amenities, everything - it's perfect for a vacation. It's fun having the arcade across the driveway. There are plenty of games downstairs, a fireplace, two types of fire pits, and the main room is nice for relaxing. The hosts are excellent - I mostly communicated with Ari throughout my stay. From the start of the booking process to the end of the trip, Ari was very responsive, incredibly welcoming and cordial, and helpful. A host can really affect the quality of the stay, and I couldn't have been happier with the communication. Overall, I'd highly recommend, and personally I hope to be back. This listing is a gem.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful property, the cabin was lovely and super clean, the beds were comfy, and Joanna was very accommodating! Our family loved the fire pit, yard games, and garage ping pong. The horses next door were such a sweet addition. We will be back whenever we visit family in the area. Thank you!

The cabin was well furnished and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking which we like to do when we're traveling. It felt homey and cozy and the wooded surroundings meant we could see and hear lots of birds. It was also nice to be able to walk along the creek. The only real negative was the traffic noise from the nearby highway, but we decided that it wouldn't keep us from returning for another stay. And the cookies and fresh eggs on our arrival were a sweet bonus. Thank you, Donny and Michelle for sharing such a wonderful place with us.

What a wonderful relaxing stay during a work weekend. The highlight was a campfire on Sunday evening with provided fire wood and fire ring. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Even when the campground was full, it was quiet and peaceful. It was so nice having a "whole house" to sprawl out in.

Matt's place was great for our small group of 5. We enjoyed how peaceful it was and the surrounding nature was great. It snowed while we were there and he made sure to have the driveway plowed for us. We had plenty of wood for the fireplace and it was soooooo nice and relaxing. Spending time with friends in a beautiful setting. Beds were quite comfy too. Would definitely stay again!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy country cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean everything was. The cabin had nice amenities, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. One of our favorite features was the lovely brook that runs alongside the house - the sound of the water added to the peaceful atmosphere. We were a little concerned at first because the cabin is situated right on a country road (not a highway), and though it’s not secluded, it didn’t disturb our stay; traffic was light, and we could not really hear the cars from inside the cabin. Though we could hear (but enjoyed) the occasional clip-clop of Amish horses passing by - a charming and authentic touch. The neighbors were quiet, adding to the sense of calm and seclusion. Kayla was a pleasure to work with, she was always available but never intrusive, and shared helpful local tips that made our visit even more enjoyable.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect secluded getaway in the woods for our extended family. I hope that we can come back someday.
