I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful little cottage for a night, and it was one of the most relaxing and homely experiences I’ve had in a long time. The exterior is picture-perfect — whitewashed walls, a quaint picket fence, and a front garden bursting with colourful flowers that made me feel welcome the moment I arrived. Inside, the cottage is full of character and charm. The original beams, rustic fireplace, and thoughtfully chosen decor create a warm, cosy atmosphere that makes it feel like a true home away from home. The fireplace setup was especially inviting, and it gave the whole space a comforting, peaceful vibe. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with love and attention. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful countryside escape or just a change of scenery to recharge, this little cottage is the perfect retreat. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I’ll definitely be back!

I arranged a night at Nathalie's for my daughter on her wedding night. Nathalie was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to make it special for them. She even assisted getting some bubbly and additional snacks in the room for them when they arrived. Due to it being their wedding we were unable to give an exact arrival time and Nathalie was very gracious about this, despite it being disruptive as she greets her guests on arrival. As for the accommodation, well what can I say? It is absolutely beautiful! My daughter and her new hubby absolutely loved it. They were also able to enjoy breakfast in the garden room, which had its new sides completed in time for their stay. I am amazed at the creativity and detail that has gone into both the room and the garden room. My only regret is that I was not able to see it in person, but it was a lovely finishing touch to a perfect wedding day for my daughter and new son-in-law. Thanks again Nathalie, for all your assistance in making the night special and putting up with all my harassment prior to the day.

Modern, clean and everything you need for a cosy stay

The room is very clean, the reply is very prompt to solve the problem, if I come to stock-on-Trent, I will come here again

We had a great time at Anita's Broomfield Barns this summer. The rooms are spacious and with big lounge with table tennis and snooker table it's perfect place even on a rainy day. Small kitchen enables you to cook meals. Bedrooms were good sized too. Best part is the nature and tranquility it is surrounded by and a morning walk around the farm is soothing for mind away from stress of the city. She also provided with pack of bread , milk and cereals for breakfast which was a bonus. Thanks .

Great stay, clean and really comfortable

We had a wonderful stay at Hill Too Farm. Susan was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble it seemed. The B&B is extremely comfortable, and the breakfast really good. Most of all Wincle is a very special part of the world, beautiful and wild… and we were pointed to a real gem of a pub, The Ship, for dinner which was a real treat. We will be back!

Me and my granddaughter had the best week here. Polly was lovely and even cooked for us. The pool was amazing and they welcomed my dog. We will definitely be returning.

I had a fantastic experience staying with Joe! He is incredibly respectful and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The place was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting their attention to detail. Big THANK YOU to Polly, John, and your gorgeous dogs Misty and Spud for a wonderful 3 night stay, they were walm and welcoming and put on lovely breakfast each morning. The rooms were large, clean and decorated with vintage pieces. The home was full of wonderful unique picture's and pieces of art and it was so lovely to walk around and take it all in. The grounds are beautiful and the weather allowed us to take full advantage of the pool, which was fabulous. Wendy has a beautiful home that she keeps in tip top shape. We had a great stay, especially with a dog. Wendy was very welcoming and left us to our own devices to explore the local area, with good driving distance to the Peaks.

A lovely comfortable room, super clean and everything I needed for a nights stay. Superb breakfast available for £10. Lots of selection and beautifully cooked. Definitely recommend. The only thing I can think of that could be improved is a new telly but that’s minor detail as everything else was great
