We had a great stay. The house is conveniently close to downtown Baie-Saint-Paul and an easy drive to Le Massif. This is the second year we have stayed here. The kitchen is well-equipped. The fireplace and hot tub are great to have. The beds are very comfortable. We will be back.

Beautiful Canadian house that takes us back in time. Impeccable. It's perfect for a group. Everyone had their space with a large dining table to gather around. The kitchen is very well equipped. Thanks to Alex for hosting us. He is very responsive and makes sure you have a great stay. The house is close to Montmorency Falls. A good 40-minute walk and you're there. The view of the Île d'Orléans is also beautiful. We hope to return.

Dave was a great host. Super responsive and proactive. The house was spacious, clean and located in a beautiful neighborhood. We called him to check the hot tub and he even brought us donuts! Great experience overall! Merci Dave!

Don't trust the photos - they do not do the place justice! It's a beautiful house and the view and property are stunning. Our smgroup of two adults and two young kids had a great time over Christmas. We had a lot of fun on the grounds, sledding, snowshoeing and exploring. We went to Le Massif to ski. It was grea to have a large gear room by the front door for all of our winter stuff. With 3 bedrooms it was too much room for us but worth it for the hot tub (clean and hot when we arrived) and amazing view. It would be an even better deal with a larger group. Once we figured it out, the wood-burning fireplace was so nice and there was plenty of firewood for us to use. The hosts went so far as to decorate for Christmas for us with a tree and other decor. We made lovely memories and hope to be back to try it in the warmer months!

We loved the place, everything was as described. Communication with Chantal was very easy. There were more accessories in the cottage than we expected, like board games on the other. The children are already asking when we'll go back! We will recommend it to those around us.

Beautiful location and view from every room in the house. Modern design with a homey feel. Interesting artwork in the house with information about each item in the house directory. Beds and bedding are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipt. Glad we found this one.

Spacious, comfortable, bright house. You quickly feel at home and it's perfect for groups. Several touches were appreciated: even toothbrushes! Nice board game closet on site. As this is a pet-friendly home, expect some hair and pay attention if there are any allergies in your group.

This is the third time we've booked this place. Every time we are delighted! Laure is welcoming and warm. The place is always clean. The house is comfortable and has several amenities. We're coming for the Beluga Ultra Trail so the location is perfect. It's a beautiful and quiet area. I recommend it 100%!

We had a pleasant stay with the family! Everyone found what they were looking for! The immediate environment is quiet and rural. Geneviève was a great help when we needed her, even on New Year's Eve!

the house is set in a wonderful location with great views. beds were comfortable and clean. lighting is easy to figure out and the wood stove made things extra comfortable. access to snowmobile trails is close unfortunately mother nature had other plans. Great place for summer and winter activities at an affordable price. Definitely be there again! thank you so much!

The river and its tides filled our few days with calm. What a pleasure to have coffee while admiring the view!! The place has a lot of character and is not lacking in anything! We'll be back!

The cabin's location in front of the St. Lawrence is beautiful. We enjoyed the steps along the path lined with rose up to the Quai de la Pointe des Orignaux. A few days of rain allowed us to enjoy the comforts of home and the beautiful covered terrace. We enjoyed the beach in front of the cottage.

My family and I just got back from this amazing stay, and we absolutely loved it! The house is located right by the St. Lawrence River, with postcard-worthy views. Every morning, we sat on the terrace with our coffee, watching the mist rise over the water—it was so peaceful and calming. The house was spotless, spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. We were three families traveling together, and each of us had our own space, which made the stay really enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we cooked a few meals ourselves. The check-in process was smooth and easy with self-check-in, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by Quebec’s stunning natural beauty, I truly recommend this place! We’ll definitely be back!

Very clean, peaceful cottage and surrounded by beautiful forest for snowshoeing in winter! Great for a couple stay☺️. The pool table in front of the fireplace is a more than few cottages in general. The host is available quickly by text and very proactive, thank you for this stay🙏. It was appreciated to have turned on the fireplace and the radio before we arrived, we felt at home right away🙂.

Our visit was superb! We only stayed to rest and due to the weather conditions, we stayed inside. For New Year's Day, there were fireworks behind the cottage which was great, we loved it. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was easy to communicate with the host. We would highly recommend it.

Port-au-Persil is a popular place in the area halfway between La Malbaie and Tadoussac. The newly renovated house with care and intelligence to accommodate travelers is therefore well located. We didn't want for anything. We were grandparents traveling with a small family of 4 and we were very comfortable. Brigitte was an exceptional host. We often rent on Air BnB and the Captain's House is one of our rentals best suited to our needs. It was warm, while leaving us room to settle in as if we were at home!

Thank you for everything! The place is beautiful, a stone's throw from the Cabaourons trail. The place is great, large, spacious and bright. There are all sorts of little touches that make the difference: spices, tupperware, condiments in the fridge. It's greatly appreciated!
