The cottage was perfect - it felt like a home from home as soon as we walked through the door. The hosts were friendly & approachable, ensuring that we had lots of useful local info, while not being in the least bit intrusive. Great location for accessing the Yorkshire Dales AND for being able to walk into town! Ours was a last minute booking due to a change in our plans; and it was such a lovely experience. We definitely recommend staying here.

What a hidden gem! This cosy cottage was a real home from home — beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect: peaceful and quiet, yet just a stone’s throw from a lovely local pub and some wonderful walking trails. The kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy to cook meals when we didn’t feel like going out. Everything was thoughtfully provided, and the attention to detail really showed. We absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a charming setting.

I live locally and brought my mum and little furry friend to stay at Carr Cottage for a couple nights while we were having work done on our place. We were looking for somewhere comfortable and clean to get away for a few days and maybe enjoy a few nice walks with the dog. We got all that and more. This cottage was such a lovely respite and we enjoyed every second of our stay. It was the perfect little place for us to have a much needed rest & ease the burden of all the craziness going on back home. The scenery was gorgeous, the location peaceful & picturesque, and the cottage wonderfully cozy. Everything was lovingly prepared and clearly done with a lot of care. We were very impressed with absolutely everything and appreciate that so much thought was put into every aspect of the home and making our stay as comfortable as possible. Despite living locally, we don’t venture up Luddenden nearly enough and we would love to come again. Thank you for everything!

Very comfortable cottage, very comfy bed, good location and really liked to sit in private garden to rear and catch the evening sun at the front. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency, however we plan to return asap and hope to stay at Sun street cottage again.

The lads really enjoyed their stay at Naz's place - very clean and well-appointed. I would not hesitate to re-book this property again. Thanks very much for hosting our guys :)

Me and my mum really enjoyed relaxing at the Cow Shed for a few days. Location was good- a short drive to Wetherby, Harrogate and nearby villages and attractions. Christina came to check we had everything we needed at the property and was a very friendly host.

Where do I start there is just so many positive things. I stayed here the night before my wedding with my sister and bridesmaids it was just beautiful in fact stunning. I was amazing. I asked for an early check in as I wanted to take some wedding things across, not only did Claire accommodate me she left a card chocolates and flowers, ironically from the same florist as my wedding flowers. I cried at the thoughtfulness. During the evening Claire then left homemade cakes at the door they were delicious btw. From myself and my wedding party you just blow us away from home he stunning cottage to the views and you being the most amazing kind host. Thank you.

What a magical escape! We’ve just spent the most wonderful three days in this beautiful hideaway, and it’s been everything we hoped for and more. Tucked away in such peaceful surroundings, the hideaway was cozy, charming, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home, milk, eggs, fresh bread to name a few. We enjoyed long walks through the Yorkshire countryside. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Thank you for creating such a special retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew’s log cabin! The cabin was cozy and well-kept, set in a beautiful garden that made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Andrew was a friendly and welcoming host, making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Suzanne and Ian are both great and very flexible. They are also very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped. The bed was comfortable with lovely crisp bedding! The location is good and it’s very secure. It’s also very central and very easy to get around the area. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone. You will be very well looked after!

A beautifully renovated cottage ideally located for our visit. Everything in the cottage has been finished to a very high standard making it comfortable and practical without fussiness. Tracey was quick to respond to any questions and the welcome pack provided all the information we needed.

We stayed here as our first trip away with our 7 week old baby (as well as our dog). It was lovely to be able to relax in the hot tub, especially as there is a long line to attach the dog to, so he could roam around and we didn't need to worry. There were really lovely extra touches, like a birthday balloon/card/chocolates for my wife, as it was her birthday when we arrived. There was also a bath book for our son and towels/bowls to use for the dog. It felt as if everything was thought of. We'd definitely visit again!!

The apartment was gorgeous! The decor, the atmosphere, it was one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in, and I will definitely book again in the future. Zoe’s instructions were clearly detailed, there were even a few sections that listed recommended bars/restaurants, places to go in the area and things to see. I thought that was a really nice touch to encourage anyone who stays there to explore ☺️ thank you for having us!

Colin’s place was amazing, from the get go he was proactive with contacting us about the hot tub and check in, as we booked last minute. The space was incredibly well put together and clever, wood fired hot tub was great and the surroundings very tranquil. Despite seemingly being situated on a residential street, you go through the gate and down the steps and you could be in the middle of the woods absolutely anywhere in the world, it was so so peaceful and exactly the rest and reset we needed. Our only gripe was it got really warm in the bed at night, as it was high up and a small space, although I must admit this is seemingly unavoidable and somewhat expected… I’d highly recommend Colin’s place to anyone, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again for the same reason!

We had a really lovely stay at the snug. My husband and I just wanted a couple of nights away to relax whilst our daughter was on residential. The snug was lovely, it felt very private and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub eat evening after a day of walking. Self check in was very simple. There was a lovely box for our dog with blankets & treats which was lovely. There are lots of lovely places to visit within easy reach. We visited Haworth which is a lovely quaint town with lots of pubs and little shops. Would recommend visiting here only 20 minutes from the snug. We walked along the canal into Bingley and back. This was a lovely, flat walk perfect for the dog. We stopped for brunch at the Five Rise Lock cafe the weather was kind and we sat outside. We then headed into Bingley town centre and enjoyed drinks at the Potting Shed. We also ate at the Airedale Heifer which was a short drive away, the food here was lovely and also dog friendly. We would recommend the snug for a short break.

Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

What a gem! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. From grandparents to kids, the whole family was happy and comfortable — it truly had something for everyone. The house is tastefully decorated, yet fully equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was a real bonus and such a treat after days out exploring! The location is ideal for Skipton and the stunning North Yorkshire countryside. Such a lovely part of the world! The hosts were super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place — a real gem!

Fabulous hosts. Very responsive, great local recommendations. All information was helpful and clear, property is spotless and cosy. Lots of little touches to make the stay feel special. Lovely village, great chippy and pubs, fab location to get out and about. Special shout out to Halifax with the wonderful Piece Hall and the beautiful market hall building. We will be back!
