Lake house vacation rentals in Chandos Lake

Had a great stay at Farah's cottage. The place was exactly as described and had some decorative touches which made the cottage even nicer. The river is fun to paddle on and neighbours were friendly. Everyone keeps at reduced boat speed so swimming was safe as long as you have a bouy with you. We enjoyed the paddle boards, bonfire outside and hot showers at the end of the day. Farah was lovely to communicate with & reliable.

Addie’s home is beautiful and provided a nice getaway for a relaxing vacation. Addie was always responsive and answered any questions we had within 10 minutes. Highly recommend staying here!

Miranda’s cottage was a great spot for our annual ATV trip. The cottage was very clean and as described. Having a sauna and the ability to swim in the lake was also nice. Look forward to returning to the cottage continuing.

Great spot by the lake … very private and relaxing.! All the amenities one will ever need and a special mention for the amazing pickleball court! If you are an animal lover this is the place for you many types of birds, baby bunnies, turkeys. The host was very responsive and was checking in to ensure we had all we needed.

I had an amazing stay, the place looks even better in person than it does in the photos! The lake is absolutely beautiful and made for such a peaceful and relaxing getaway. We absolutely loved our stay at Maya & Greg’s cottage. We spent the May long weekend here and loved the peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings. The cottage was exactly as pictured, there was lots to do, and the hosts were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Being right on the water made for stunning views and easy access for swimming, kayaking, or just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Tara was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. Whether we were hanging out on the deck, cooking together, or just enjoying the quiet, every moment felt like the perfect cottage getaway. We’re already talking about coming back! Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and recharge in a beautiful, waterfront setting.

I stayed at Cristal’s lovely cottage as a birthday trip with 6 friends. What I can say but, WOW. The place is in impeccable condition - clean, renovated and modern. It had everything we could hope for in a cottage including firewood, multiple boat options, indoor and outdoor games, lots of outdoor seating areas and direct access to the water complete with floating dock! The kitchen was fully stocked for all cooking needs and there were a lot of towels available for both inside and outside use which was really helpful. Christa was also great to communicate with, even though little contact was needed because everything was so easy. My friends and I give the place a resounding 10/10 and we would go back in a heartbeat!!

This place is a gem. The way it's purched on the rock with the decking - it's really unique. The interior is even nicer than the photos too. Top Airbnb.

Booked Ken’s place for a friends birthday. Place was beautiful - had everything we needed. The spa amenities were amazing!! Sauna, hot tub and cold plunge. Also, house is on the river!! We all really enjoyed our time here, would definitely look into staying here again! Thanks so much Ken for hosting us!

We had a great time at this cottage. Very private with all the amenities you could ask for. It’s a 10 outta 10! I think the only thing that we would suggest is having a picnic table in the yard which would take it from a 10 to 11! Thanks again to our wonderful hosts. This is truly an amazing location.

This is our second Thanksgiving Long Weekend spent at Dave's cottage. Everything was as perfect as last year. This year the First Aid Kit came really handy as one of us poked himself doing the dishes. He was able to patch himself up really quickly since the kit was right under the kitchen sink. There aren't many cottages around that are as considerate as this one that supplies First Aid Kits on BOTH floors. I can't say enough compliments for the hosts.

My husband and I had a great stay at Daniel’s place. Took advantage of the fire pit and peddle boat and the peaceful surrounding. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends.

The Tall Timbers cottages were amazing! We had a large group and rented Cottage 1 and Cottage 2 for a long weekend getaway in October. Both the cottages and the beautiful surroundings delivered beyond our expectations! We always felt we were in good hands with our hosts, and we had plenty of entertainment with the beach and the provided amenities. Overall a wonderful experience, would definitely do it again and recommend to friends, family, or anyone looking for a beautiful, private, and scenic getaway!

Chris was very flexible with check out and making our check in time earlier. He was very responsive and clear on instructions with whatever was needed. Property was beautiful and the inside was clean. This stay would something even more beautiful in a month when the dock is put in and the water isn’t freezing! Highly recommend

My family and I had a great stay at Kestas for four nights. We were a big group and found ample space for socialization and great sleeping accommodations. The cottage was a steep stairway down just as described in the listing, be mindful to unload your things and walk down the steps. The lake and the surroundings were beautiful. Kesta was a responsive host and was able to address any concerns or questions quickly. I would highly recommend booking!

I had an amazing weekend getaway here! The stay was peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding. The sunset views were stunning, and the home itself was spotless and well-organized. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes and appliances we needed, plus thoughtful touches like water bottles, condiments, tea, and coffee. Would recommend this stay!

This was one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. The fall colours were amazing, the property so peaceful. Kaitlin’s home was very spacious and clean…. It was a lot bigger in real life than what I imagined from the pictures. Kaitlin is a great host. She was very quick to respond to any of our questions. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

The place was a perfect getaway. Even though it was raining, we were still able to go on some beautiful hikes very close by and enjoy the hot tub. The place has everything you could need in the kitchen and it felt very homey and well stocked. I would definitely go back to enjoy the lake when the weather is warmer!

This perfectly outfitted cottage/cabin in the woods is private but just a short drive from town. There are several pleasant outdoor areas to enjoy the fresh air and birds and some family games. The screened in porch is comfortable for lounging and dining. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. Beds appeared to be almost new and were very comfortable. Many thanks for ‘arranging’ the special welcome committee of young deer in the woods near the back door! Very special!

Stayed here in June with a party of 4. This place is amazing! Location is great and offers privacy, the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with all the basics. Lots to do around the area as well. Algonquin park is a short drive away which offers great hikes and canoeing. We had a great time. Cottage felt right at home and host is very receptive. Would highly recommend!
