Maison du Baile.

In the heart of the Renaissance district of Bar le Duc, the bailiff's house was built at the beginning of the 16th century by the prosecutor of the city of Paris. Located on the rampart of the old fortress, its cellars still bear witness to perfectly preserved remains dating from the 12th century. Remodeled over the centuries, the house was enriched at the end of the 19th century with a rockery forming a cave, opening onto a medieval room. The house was completely renovated from 2021 to 2023.

Le gîte de la Morlette est situé dans la vallée de la Meuse à proximité de l'Eurovélo 19. Dans un verger, à l'orée des bois, il propose aux randonneurs, cyclotouristes, cavaliers et autres voyageurs, en quête d'un hébergement simple et économique, des espaces à partager : 4 chambres (12 couchages), une cuisine en gestion libre avec un espace salon, des sanitaires collectifs, une terrasse, un local fermé pour les vélos, un pré pour les chevaux.

Vous séjournez dans ce relais en bon père de famille. Vous profitez d'un chalet écologique avec cuisine, feu de bois, sanitaire ainsi qu’un point d'eau dans chaque chambre.

The dormitory is typical and comfortable, the kitchen and rest area gives you a nice view of the Extra Pony carousel, you have a small terrace and barbecue area to enjoy the sun. Your bikes will be sheltered and, for workers, it's the perfect place to disconnect in the middle of nature while being in the city center. Train station 1 min, shops 5 min.

This accommodation offers easy access to the city center with all shops. Only 15 minutes from the historic medieval town of Provins. Breakfast is not included. The toilet is private in the bedroom, but the bathroom, as well as the kitchen, is shared with us.
