Vacation rentals in Chalk Pond

My family had a complicated situation when we sold our home and ended up needing a place to stay for 3 weeks while we waiting to close on our new home. We were so happy to find an affordable place to stay. The house had everything we needed for our stay and Brittney was very nice. The house also smelt very clean.

Jennifer’s cabin was as exactly as described. Cozy feeling but had all the perks of a well designed space. The great room was designed for unwinding and we enjoyed it - and the woodsy views to the fullest. We were welcomed with cookies and a helpful packet of information about outdoor options, restaurants, etc. Lots of comfy seating areas for reading, talking or relaxing. We enjoyed our stay 110%

This rental was perfect for our family! Very clean, comfortable and well decorated. It was nice to be able to make our own meals and eat on the deck with a gorgeous view of Paugus Bay and also be so close to great restaurants, shopping and excursions at GunStock! We would highly recommend and would stay again

If you are looking for an idyllic lake house experience, this is it! We could have spent our entire trip just sitting on the porches—upstairs, downstairs, one screened-in porch, and the lovely dock. We used the kayaks and the paddle boat multiple times. The house was perfect for us because we are a close family of three, but if you need privacy from other guests, this wouldn’t be the ideal house as one bedroom opens into the other. The beds are soft and comfortable as is the sofa. Paula and Tim were extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely return to this house. It was difficult to leave the gorgeous leaves.

I’m grateful that Peggy and Harry were willing to rent to us at the last minute. Our family needed a quiet respite to be together during a difficult time of loss. The solitude of the lake and woods was calming and we had plenty of room to be together. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great location close to Ragged Mountain for winter sports. Comfortable home, lots of beds for kids (wish the homes we had stayed in when our kids were little were as well stocked with toys and a fun toddler bed!) Also loved that the pantry was stocked-we unexpectedly got to have fresh baked muffins with breakfast.

Incredibly clean, modern, and everything you would need. Host was extremely responsive, proactive, and helpful. Beds and linens were very comfortable, everything looked brand new. My family of 4 enjoyed 2 nights, no complaints.

We stayed here while visiting family in Hanover forThanksgiving. A spacious house nestled within an amazing wooded area. We had the pleasure of waking up to all the trees covered in fresh snow. All the more perfect because the house has huge windows lots of natural light. Highly recommend.
