The hospitality of this locations was unbeatably unmatched and felt more personal and accommodating than hotels. From the locatiom being incredibly well put together with its impeccable interior design, it becomes clear the place is a passion project more than anything. I couldn't sing my praises high enough for the cleanliness, comfort, convenience, amenities, services and incredible standard of hospitality set by this one visit. My stay was absolutely incredible and would highly highly reccomend it in future.

Great value for money, the QT hotel is just down the road, but much preferred the space and amenities available in the apartment. Plus the price was much better. Beautifully styled with quality inclusions. Location was fantastic, we took bicycles and thoroughly enjoyed the harbour and coastal tracks.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Matt's place. Same as other reviews, in that it was a little hard to find when first checking in, in the dark too, but once we got our bearings with Matt's map we had no issues. That was really the only hiccup. The area is great, and you can hire bikes to do a self wine tour, direct from the resort, rather than hire elsewhere, which was a great bonus

Hidden Gem in Newcastle – Thoughtful, Understated, Perfect This place truly surprised me — in the best way. The space was beautiful yet understated, with everything I needed right at my fingertips. What made it unforgettable was the host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. I was greeted with beautiful complimentary drinks and felt instantly at ease. A rare gem!

Beautiful and central stay in the inner city of Newcastle. Within walking distance of everything you would need. Sarah was friendly, flexible and on top of everything you would need. The apartment was clean and relaxing space to unwind after a long day.

Such a wonderful stay! Perfect location to take in beach walks, kiosk stops, wine breaks and incredible natural sights. Janet was an incredible host that gave us tips for the area and responded super quickly when the bluetooth speaker wasn't working, and rectified it with a new speaker within minutes. Everything was done discreetly and although the accomodation is next to the main house, it is absolutely private. The accomodation itself has the highest quality finishes and details, with the bathroom and kitchen the equivalent to what you would. build for yourself if you had a handsome budget. A washer/dryer and dishwasher were added bonuses as were the provisions for a quick breakfast and afternoon drink. The view from the balcony was better than the photos and even though it was Winter we were able to sit out and take in the morning sun. Can't recommend this accomodation enough!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Barefoot at Broke over the long weekend. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and felt extremely spacious for the 5 of us, plus our family dog. Located in Broke, the property feels private and secluded, yet only a short drive away from some amazing wineries. Steve and Jen were also very responsive hosts, answering all our questions promptly and providing clear instructions for check in/ out. We would highly recommend Barefoot at Broke for a small group getaway - we had an amazing time!

Great place and location for a group base to explore the Hunter valley. Relaxing and easy to stay. Good amenities and well appointed house.

We loved staying at Rod’s place. It was so cute, very tidy and clean, well appointed with comfy beds. Plenty of room for a family or a group of friends with 3 queen size bedrooms a sofa bed and two bathrooms. We appreciated the treats left for us- so thoughtful. The location was handy to everything we needed and we would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Marcus’s place in Cessnock! It’s a cosy, comfortable home — perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The location was fantastic, with easy access to all the local facilities, wineries, and everything else the Hunter Valley has to offer. A really nice touch was the complimentary bottle of wine left for us, which made us feel very welcome. The place was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The house was absolutely spotless, very clean and comfortable- a home away from home. Loved the extra touches of bacon/eggs in fridge for breakfast, and washing liquid etc. Also plentiful kitchen utensils/ cooking equipment. The owner also turned heating on for us so house was toasty on arrival. Multiple TVs so family could spread out which was great! Found the house to have the extra touches that many air bnbs don’t provide- we were there for State Rugby, so at the end of a long day was lovely to have such a comfortable house to relax in. Would highly recommend this property.

Annette ‘s place is as described ,location is walking distance to everything . The house was clean , had everything one will need including kids playroom. Relaxed, natural, clean and cosy! Just a few words to capture this peaceful home. Owners went above and beyond even to a point where a bag was left and they posted it back to Sydney without additional charges. Stunning view, mineral pool - the photos don’t do it justice. Thank you for an incredible stay!

We had a lovely 3 night weekend at Alicia’s house. We had 4 couples and it worked well for us. Open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area was very comfy. Kitchen was well equipped with all sorts of appliances and lots of condiments . We appreciated all the goodies which Alicia left for us including a bottle of Spumante and 8 chilled glasses in the fridge which was very thoughtful. We also loved the dressing gowns and slippers in all the bedrooms - a lovely touch which we appreciated. The place was spotlessly clean and generous provisions were left for us. The house is located in a new housing estate, with Coles 5 minutes away which was super convenient and still close to the wineries. It is a bight, light house and we loved having morning coffee on the lounges outside in the sun. All in all a great weekend away - thanks for sharing your house with us Alicia.
