Very nice cabin in the woods! Isolated and quiet. Really enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub. For a cabin in the woods it was very comfortable, and well equipped. For 3 people it was however quite small, but for a couple I think the cabin is a perfect (albeit cozy) size!

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it! The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need- and more! From charcoal and all the grill tools, logs for the hot tube and sauna, to a great coffee machine and thoughtful touches throughout. The terrace was super cozy, surrounded by lush greenery, with plenty of different types of swings and places to unwind. At night, the starry sky was magical. It’s ideal for 3-5 people with plenty of space and clearly lots of love and care from the owners, both inside and out. The host even left us some sweet, delicious surprises that made us feel truly welcomed. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, making the most of the house and garden.Time flew by, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. We would love to come back again someday. Thank you for everything! Great place. Very private and cosy place.

Nice place to recover from the hustle and bustle of the city. The only thing missing was an outdoor shower to use after visiting the sauna. The rest was happy, thank you!

We stayed at 4 and it was very nice. For one night it was fine, several would probably stay too narrow. :) had everything we needed available, we used the tub as well. Came to us on the spot also told us everything. The owner was easy to reach should the need arise. The cottage itself is very affectionate.

The stay at River House was divine. We went there with our family of four and had two separate bedrooms, it was peaceful around and had a lovely creek by the house. The interior is cozy and reminds you of the movie "Holiday", where you can soak up the atmosphere by the fireplace or by lighting a fire by the creek. There is a possibility to pay extra for the sauna and hot tub, which we totally recommend. If you can, stay for 2 nights, the host recommends local treasures to visit whilst you're there. Also, they are very responsive and help with anything you need. When you go to River House, you're worries don't come with you. There you go to rest and spend time with your loved ones.

Our stay was breathtaking. We immediately felt very comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and the hosts were always immediately available for questions and requests. The house was very quiet and perfect to escape the ordinary. We would come back!

We spent the weekend at this house for the second time! Everything is outstanding and we already knew! I can add what I especially notice here, little things that may also not be there to be exceptional! But there is.... a well-known brand of quality showers, hair washes, matched color towels, according to the interior, even the exterior, door fixers, all the way to the hinges of the cupboards, the dishwasher and it can go on and on.... Not everything is thought of, but thought hard more! Very tasteful!

Short pleasant stay! Place was homey and looked just like the pictures.

Burning fire stove was welcoming us inside, while everything was just so clean, peaceful and silent, exactly as in pictures. Big windows allowed us to enjoy nature and singing birds straight from the bed. I would definitely come back again. Amazing place, thank you very much!

Wonderful, stylish house in beautiful surroundings. You can swim in your own lake (the water was quite cold in August but we still enjoyed it). Very nice terrace, great for barbecue. 8 minutes to Sigulda by car. Comfortable for our group of 7 people. Kitchen is a bit basic but OK.
