Welcome to my homestay, 5 minutes from Rantepao center. I have 2 rooms with double beds available. Here you spend the night like a local in a quiet and green spot, with me (local guide) and my family. The rooms is wooden with a bed and mosqito net. Feel free to use the livingroom, kitchen and bathroom. Breakfast included. I also offer culture-tours: funeral ceremonies, hiking, traditional villages and to visit different burial sites. " We really enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories and sharing experiences, The Host Harry, as a former guide, knows the area well and is eager to share his experience and give you tips for your trip. Harry & his wife Mimin arrange ferry tickets and cabin, airport shuttle and other driving requests. Harry can also act as a guide for longer trips to other areas of Indonesia such as Papua Raja Ampat and Sulawesi if required.

Danke House is recently constructed and all rooms look brand new and are spotless. Most importantly, Linny and her family were unbelievably nice and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel like part of the family. They took us to the bus station to buy tickets to Ampana, toured us around Palu, helped us buy a sim card, and countless other nice things. If we come back to Palu we will stay here again for sure. The house is hard for a taxi to find, so I recommend arranging pick-up from the airport or bus station in advance with Linny.

Wonderfully quiet place (we hadn't experienced it on Sulawesi) in nature, with the good care and delicious food of Annelies and her team. Cottages are sufficiently large with beautiful views over the Poso swimming lake, accessible by boat or through the rice field. Walking through rice paddies to Peura and bike ride to Tentena are fun outings. Annelies has also arranged transportation for us, from Toraja and to Ampana.

We came by recommendation. When we read and spoke with Lian, we were fascinating by the story, the purpose and the meaning of the Dodoha Mosintuwu. The bamboo house is integrated in the environment. As it is mentioned in Sofia library ‘Today a reader, tomorrow a leader’ I can’t wait to read Lian’s book. Coming here was not only to stay in a comfortable Homestay, eat healthy food and buy local coconut oil but as well to know about the NGO and see how women and children are empowered. Our stay was a journey of social and cultural awareness about the story of the region.
