Lake side house rentals in Central Lake

The hosts were very responsive and communicative. The AC kind of went out and the hosts promptly got someone out to fix it. The setting was beautiful! We enjoyed a couple days on the boat (Northaire rentals), then did day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island and then a down day with the kayaks and SUP. My husband enjoyed fishing off the Dockside Pier. We enjoyed ice cream at Moomers, local cider at Royal Farms and our best meal at Toonie’s for Friday fish fry. Us southerners should have been better prepared for colder water and later seasons. The longer days also threw us for a loop but still a great first trip to Michigan!

Will definitely come back for another stay. Katie and Ray were super friendly and very helpful during our trip. The Cottage was immaculate, cozy and homey. It felt like home away from home and the communication was superb. They had a fishing pole, kayaks and a premade fire pit ready for immediate use on the gorgeous lakeside. We would definitely recommend anyone to book this location!

Awesome place to stay . Look over the pictures and descriptions of the home . The picture are accurate. There are some quirks ,but come on its a general store that you can sleep in . Not far Traverse City, Petoskey,Charlevoix , or even Mackinaw Island. The Airbnb is a fun and comfortable place to stay . Would recommend.

The Dragonfly was perfect! It was just my husband, our dogs and myself and we all loved it! Everything was clean, organized and Amanda was a great communicator. Intermediate Lake is a gem and we hope to return soon!

Dawn & Jason are great hosts! Very responsive, friendly & great at communicating! We loved the condo! The updated bath, floors, counters & decor were lovely! But balcony is def my fave! The view, bird watching, & peaceful surroundings were beautiful! Also loved watching the golfers tee off every morning! Lol We would absolutely recommend staying here for a couples getaway or a seasonal trip!

Lindsay’s vacation home on Lake Charlevoix made for a beautiful getaway up north! Highly recommend staying here, wish we would’ve been able to stay longer than two nights. We will definitely be staying here in the near future again.

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

The cottage was so cute and has its original charm! Directly on the water and a nice fire pit to utilize! Just a quick stroll down the path and you’re at the beach. The cottage is well equipped with things you need on the daily. We just bought some groceries and were good to go! The location is perfect! It’s very close to Leland Fish Town, downtown Lake Leelanau, Suttons Bay, and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Dandan was a wonderful host! Friendly and responsive. Clear instructions. It was truly a lovely getaway and Dandan is an excellent host!

This is a one of a kind property. It’s a safe place for the kids to run around and explore. We loved the disc golf so much.

Fabulous home! We had a wonderful time, despite weather that was a bit cool and rainy. We still enjoyed the hot tub and kayaks. The house had a ton to offer including the best appointed kitchen I’ve ever had in an Airbnb. We loved the games and the ping pong room, and the bar area too. Bedrooms were comfy and spacious. The place was really private and we enjoyed exploring Central Lake and the surrounding area too. Classic Pizza was excellent and Short’s Brewery was a short drive. Cellar 1914 also had good wine and a great outdoor space with views of the bay. Sue was a responsive host and it was really easy to find even though it was remote. Would definitely stay here again!

Host was super quick to responds and sent a ton of info of things to do in the area. A very nice, peaceful time on the lake.

Great stay for the weekend. Peaceful and beautiful view of the lake. We seen bald eagles and caught fish off the dock. We would love a place like this to spend weekends away. Definitely would stay there again.

We had a great time on our honeymoon at spillway! They were super accommodating and the location was walking distance to downtown Bellaire. We made extra use of the sauna/cold plunge. The lodges are right by torch lake and within driving distance to Lake Michigan. We are already planning future stays here!

We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay!! The place was just perfect for 2 people. Amber was an EXCELLENT host!!!! Very responsive and helpful. We hated leaving!! lol. We will definitely be coming back and staying at the cozy office again!! Thank you so much! ❤️👍🏻

We spent the weekend here for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! It was great to escape for a few nights - we loved the private location & all of the amenities with the cabin (record player, dvd player, coffee maker, etc.) as well as the campfire area. This is very close to Torch Lake, as well as only ~45 minutes from Traverse City so there is plenty to do if you are looking to go out. The cabin was cozy & relaxing, so you may just want to stay there the whole time. I would caution future guests to prepare yourselves for the drive in - it’s hidden in a wooded area, so your car may be stuck in the mud or blocked by fallen trees - just be prepared for that. Otherwise, this was the perfect getaway & we can’t wait to return!

Kitchen was very well equipped and had extras like dishwashing soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels and tissues. Front porch has nice chairs with cushions and a swing. We had one minor maintenance issue that was fixed promptly. Terri and Rick were very helpful with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. Barnes State Park Beach is a must-see. We rented a tri-toon from Torch Lake Pontoon Rentals and they did a very nice job, too. Overall, excellent experience.

The tower was exactly as described. The location is secluded but not difficult to find. Very peaceful and relaxing! The tower has everything you need as far as kitchen necessities and even toiletries. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. It is located only a 3 minute drive from downtown Bellaire which has many cute little shops, a brewery, distillery, and restaurants. The tower is also located only 20-25 mins from Torch Lake. Only disclaimer I have is the stairs; it was not a problem for our group but may be difficult for some.

Ryan's place near Central lake was peaceful with lot more to walk around in the back yard to relax. Enjoyed having the firepit in the backyard and felt safe staying late at night. Ryan was real responsive to requests. The place was closer to several near by attraction and the kitchen had amenities and there is also a local grocery to get things to cook. Overall a great place and a great stay. Would love to visit in future.

Great, quite location. Well equipped and clean. Our dog loved the big yard to run while we relaxed on the nice deck. It's very dark at night, take a big basket for all the stars. Loved it, thanks Michelle

A peaceful and beautiful getaway! The cabin was a simple cozy place to hunker down in, while the lake and view was nothing short of spectacular. My girl even hooked a chunky carp while out fishing on a row boat! The place was heavenly in the fall time. Michael was also incredibly informative, letting us know about the nearby hiking trails (grass river natural area was amazing), and a nearby corner store that sells worms for fishing amongst plenty of other essentials. Would 100% return again, maybe this time during the summer!
