Cosy Cottage was just that, and more!! The house was lovely with charm and the gardens well cared for. Inside was a delight, a full kitchen with all the utensils, cutlery and crockery you could ask for. The air con in the lounge and main bedrooms was appreciated by us and our dog, especially as we had a couple of warm nights. Definitely caters for pets, with pet towels provided and fenced yard. The view out the kitchen window of the bush behind the property was wonderful, made us feel not hemmed in. A walk in the bush was fantastic with lots of birds singing away. Highly recommend Deb's place at Cosy Cottage for a bush getaway, while still in close proximity to shops, cafes, pubs and even the Avoca Market which was on during our stay.

Dennis and Bronwen's place is stunning. I am almost reluctant to give it the review that it deserves so that I can keep it secret. Very spacious, comfortable and a really thoughtful attention to detail, and a positive energy about the place. Proactive, friendly hosts are the icing on the cake. Very highly recommended.

We had two families stay for a week. The home is spacious and well laid out. The outdoor entertaining area is perfect and so is the pool. Chris gave us a good run down how to work everything. We had a brilliant time and would highly recommend this property for a relaxing home away from home.

The location might be obscure and remote, but the host’s instructions were clear. Only 15 minutes to Maryborough, the closest biggest town, this cosy mud-brick cottage was exactly what our little family needed. This pet-friendly cottage allowed us to bring our beautiful French Bulldog, Mister Crumpet and he had fun trying to get the two older dogs, Zac and Betty, who lived on the property to play with him. Waking up every morning to the rustic rural landscape was sublime. With the sheep, birds and kangaroos jumping in paddock was a grounding experience. The cottage had everything we needed. A nice big kitchen to prepare meals, a spacious living room with the master bed. There is another bedroom with six bunk beds, perfect for large families. The bathroom was clean with plenty of amenities. The outdoor covered patio was our favourite space. Basking in the views, our dog could roam in the fenced area as we sit and sipped our tea. It was the perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

This was our second stay at the property and it was just as good the second time around. A lovely peaceful space with plenty of games for the kids and spaces to explore outside. We look forward to returning again!

We had a wonderful stay, felt right at home, in a good location so everything is within walking distance, house was exactly as described and Kate was an absolute gem to deal with. We will definitely be back!

Col and Maureen are the most friendly, down-to-earth hosts you could ask for. They make everything easy and help your holiday flow. The property has great amenities, a fully functional kitchen (great for group meals) with a lot of spaces to sit and relax. Everything is clean and comfortable with clear views of the bush, kangaroos and The Pyrenees. We had a delightful time and are already booking a return trip. What a great country escape. We stayed for a few days for a family event. The accommodation was clean and beautifully styled. Easy walk to town centre, off street parking and lots of interesting neighbouring historic towns to visit.
