Beautiful seaside cottage with access to the beach right across the road! Very accessible to go to Dunedin. Janet was very responsive and she was very thoughtful in leaving us breakfast and bread. The cottage had toys and beach amenities to enjoy! We had the most wonderful time :) will definitely be visiting again!

Robyn is a wonderful host. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The view of the harbour is stunning, even from the bathroom! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One thing worth mentioning - the walkway to the entrance is steep and long, which could pose a challenge if you have a mobility issue.

Jenn’s place was a great place to stay. Beautifully appointed and recently refurbished we felt immediately at home. Thank you for making us feel so welcome - plus it was a real bonus to be able to bring our two Golden retrievers. I had an operation at the local hospital and Jenn’s place was ideal to recover before we travelled home. We would definitely recommend to others

Sarah's place was a dream. Doorstep parking, proper kitchen, living area, good-sized bedroom, heatpump, washing machine. It really ticked all our boxes. Other reviews said the Airbnb unit was well thought out and intentionally planned. I couldn't agree more. Sarah was so kind to turn on the heatpump minutes we arrived due to bad weather. At first thought it was far from DUD CBD but it turned out to be a quick 10 mins drive via the motorway. Would definitely stay again in future!

This was our second visit to Helen & Danny’s lovely spot in Dunedin. It is a very relaxing house with views all the way to the peninsula, beautiful garden, and perfectly situated kitchen and amenities. Easy access to town and coast. Everything was clean and comfortable and I’d definitely stay again. Thank you Helen and Danny for hosting us again!

This is a very nice apartment in beautiful surroundings. It overlooks the hills and the water. Lots of nature right outside your window. Don't be daunted by the long uphill driveway. You'll enjoy the results. We wish we'd had more time to walk some of the paths on the property. The property is most convenient for visiting the wildlife centers on the peninsula to see penguins, seals, and albatross. Sean gave us some tips on where to go in addition to the official centers. He also left us some delicious tomatoes from his garden!

The view!!! Oh my goodness, 2 large windows in the lounge/dining looking out to the ocean and big sky...it was mesmerising! This was a highlight and added to the whole relaxing experience. Large house with heaps of space. And quiet?...so peaceful you don't even hear cars passing. Thank you Penny for the lovely stay. I hope I have the opportunity again sometime. 😊

Secluded waterfront new-build - 5min walk to beach

Loveday's house is just as beautiful as in the photos. It feels quite new and is well insulated and sealed against the elements. There was wood for the fire and three portable heaters which were plenty enough. We loved the decorating and views out over the creek below. There are so many different species of birds in the garden it was amazing. Walking to the beach took minutes in a beautiful location. There are two bathrooms and a bath which was handy. There isn't a TV or WiFi , and my phone reception was one bar if that is a dealbreaker for you, but that meant we really switched off, relaxing, reading and getting a full night's sleep, which was quite restorative and better than watching the idiot box or doom scrolling on the socials. Loveday left chocolates and a great list of local places to go and eat. There are 12 long shallow steps down from the road amongst a rainforest and outdoor shower, which was a lovely entrance to the house. Great deck and more, ta!
