The cottage was exactly as described and felt cozy and comfortable as if we were at home. The surroundings were clean, beautiful and peaceful. Will definitely be staying here again at some point.

We have stayed at this location multiple times. The house is great, and Kelly is wonderful to work with. We plan to return, and if you are coming to the Lake Cumberland area, I highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at this lake house was absolutely amazing! The home was clean, very spacious, and well maintained. Amy was fantastic—super responsive and always helpful whenever we had questions. She replied quickly and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The location was beautiful, and we had a great time enjoying the amazing dock. We really had a blast using the kayaks provided. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a fun weekend with friends and family, this place is a perfect choice. Highly recommend!

My husband and I and another couple stayed at The Blue Heron for a long weekend, hoping to get some golf in. Shelly was helpful prior to our arrival with grocery and dinner suggestions. We were able to find the place with no problems and had easy access to get in. Very quiet location. Did not see anyone the entire stay. The main house was the perfect size for 4 people. Living room/kitchen provided enough space for us all to be together. The deck would have be great space with the fire pit and outdoor seating. We just happened to come during a 4 day nonstop rain. Which did make for great sleeping. The boathouse provided space for the couple we came with. It had a queen bed, small sitting area bathroom and a great view. The main house had a great loft for the other bedroom. The bed and pillows were amazing. Although we did not get one round of golf in, we did find fun things to do in Lexington. It was very relaxing and we look forward to coming back when the weather is better/warmer.

My daughter and the grandkids stayed at Julie’s for a couple of nights while we visited Cumberland Falls. We had a wonderful time and loved the view of the trees and lake from the kitchen. The kids loved the bedroom loft space and all the board games and puzzles. We appreciated all the small details that made the cabin more homey and a relaxing place to stay. Thank you.

The beds could have been more comfortable but other than that I was very satisfied with this place. Beautiful view of the lake and watching the geese on the lake. Very quiet and so peaceful.

Absolutely beautiful cabin. The setting on the lake is breathtaking. The inside finishes are very well done, and it is very classy yet inviting. This was for a family vacation, with our three younger children, and it met all expectations. My children loved the loft, and we loved the openness.

Great location for our family. Lots of room and very homey. Great restaurant on property as well.

We had an excellent stay. Our group of 13 had plenty of room and the grounds were amazing. Short trip to the marina where we had a couple boats rented. Great value and would definitely stay again.

Great host helped our small group with a last minute booking. Super cozy cute cabin near the lake. Perfect place to relax and only a short drive to town.

Really enjoyed our stay it’s so quiet and relaxing having the lake a few steps away it’s really nice. The house has a very welcoming feeling it’s great. Anytime we’re back in the area we will definitely plan to stay at Josie’s.

This was the second time Karen hosted us, she does not disappoint. I was very comfortable booking the Farmhouse knowing the level of service and amenities awaiting. The ambiance, cleanliness and the extra touches make this place special and well worth the money.

We loved our stay on the farm! The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids were thrilled with all the animals and especially enjoyed visits from the friendly Great Pyrenees dogs. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t smell like a farm at all! Sandy and Martin were so friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. We also bought some of the farm’s sausage, and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for a unique and enjoyable experience!

The house was perfect for our family reunion, and Teresea and Tim are incredibly kind and helpful hosts. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to fix all our meals, the living area has comfortable furniture for a crowd to hang out together, and it was great to have so many main floor bedrooms with their own bathroom. We loved sitting out on the deck, and the view of the lake was even better than I'd expected from the photos. We highly recommend it and hope to return again next year ourselves!

Great stay, really loved the hot tub. Loved the privacy and the signs put up to find the cabin were very convenient!

Comfortable and spacious for our party of 6! All beds were comfortable and everyone slept great. We loved the fire pit, Blackstone grill, and hot tub. Plenty of extras (coffee, spices, trash bags, detergents, etc). I love an owner that allows furbabies as we don’t leave our dog behind. We hiked some awesome trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. A great getaway!

We got there super late but it wasn’t a issue to them! They were super easy to work with and nice! Everything was super clean and nice and 10/10 WiFi!!! Felt right at home.

Good location, exceptionally clean & well kept. Friendly neighbors and close to many attractions. Highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future. TV was exceptional and laundry facilities top notch. Very comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality
