Vacation rentals with a kayak in Caye Caulker

This condo at the Blu Zen is right on the water, about 5- 10 feet from the ocean and views are fantastic. Watching the sun rise at 6:00 every morning with a cup of coffee, out on the Deck in 80-degree weather was great way to start the day. I was at the Blu Zen for the first time in November 2022 and loved it so much we came back this year in March 2025. The Blu Zen is the nicest place on Caye Caulker and traveling around Caye Caulker is really fun. We would use the bikes at the Blu Zen and ride everywhere. Riding about a mile south brings you to a split between the North and South Island of Caye Caulker and a small raft takes you across the 200 feet of water to the South Island and there is a lot of things to do there. Booking a condo at the Blu Zen, I would recommend getting this condo, the location is prefect with pools on both sides and a nonrestricted view of the water. We spent 8 days in March of 2025 and everything was perfect.

An amazing Family-Friendly Stay in Belize Our recent family vacation in Belize was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming onsite reception team, who were always ready to assist us with booking a variety of activities. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious, perfectly suited for families. The kids loved the swimming pool and the beautiful beach. We were able to book several exciting excursions through the reception, including snorkeling trips, jungle tours, and visits to ancient Mayan ruins. Each activity was well-organized and provided unforgettable experiences for our entire family. The onsite dining options were fantastic, offering a range of delicious local and international dishes that catered to both adults and children. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive,

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Hidden Treasures was immaculate both the grounds and the units. Our unit was spotless and cleaned every 3 days including new bedding, towels, etc. Mattress and pillows were high quality and comfortable for a good night's rest. Hidden Treasures is close to all amenities and yet tucked off the beaten path for a peaceful and tranquil setting. Bikes were available but an easy walk to town. Host was extremely responsive and went above and beyond. One evening I had a little accident with my bike injuring my arm. With the host's connections, the local health clinic was opened and a nurse and doctor were there to treat me. Host drove my worried daughter and injured me there. Fortunately, the arm was not broken just badly bruised, and I was given medicine. Host refused any compensation and genuinely wanted to help. Host is a former marine biologist, and I definitely recommend taking his snorkeling tour. Fabulous stay!

This stay was absolutely beautiful. You can tell how much love and passion was put into crafting this place, as it shows in every single detail. The house is brand new, which is great because everything is spotless. I felt like I was staying in a designer boutique Hilton property. Not to mention the sunset views… omg. The owner/host is SO responsive and truly cares about you having a great stay. Her knowledge and connections on the island made our trip. Not only that, but the price is a STEAL for what you’re getting. Overall, this is a MUST stay if you’re in Caye Caulker. I will absolutely be back. Nina (and her family) were incredibly helpful and communicative. They arranged our transportation, took care of small things as needed, helped us book an awesome boat / snorkeling trip when we had a last-minute issue with our existing booking, etc. The house was spacious and perfect for our needs, and nicely located. We had a great time in Caye Caulker!

The best feature of Blu Zen is its staff. They are professional, hard-working, helpful, kind & friendly - that applied to everybody. Carmen's unit was more beautiful in person & squeaky clean. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and the A/C units in each room enabled us to specifically control each "zone". Shower water pressure and temp were excellent. We shopped for essentials at the Mercado. Some things were expensive ($12 - 1/2 gal. milk) but overall prices were fair given we were on an island. The local Greek yogurt, hummus and fresh bakery cinnamon bread were outstanding. We liked the pizza, Wed happy hour wings and cocktails at LaFogata. We had a very disappointing meal/service at Lotus. Our favorite restaurants on the north island were the Happy Lobster (walkable) and El Ben TNT (they picked us up). Bliss Beach (a bike or cart ride away) on the west side was gorgeous. The winds and stinky sargassum unfortunately made BZ's beautiful beach unusable for us ;-(.

We stayed here for a few days on a visit to Belize with our young family. We received proactive messages from the host and helped us arrange and hold card and help from the airport to the island, handling all the luggage. The stay was fantastic and the staff couldn’t do enough to help make our stay enjoyable. We don’t always revisit the same places twice, but we both agreed we would absolutely stay here again if we visit this island. Book this place, you won’t regret it.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff at Blu Zen were amazing. Communication with both Scott abs Blu Zen were great. Appreciated the recommendations and advice from Scott. Place was as pictured. It’s definitely a more quiet property where you “go slow” which we found relaxing. We caught fish that the restaurant cooked up for us which was great. The time of year we went there is a lot of seaweed on the beach and in the ocean water. They have people cleaning it constantly but they can’t keep up. Makes being in the ocean a bit less appealing but three pools were good. Would recommend and stay here again.

There are really no words for what a fantastic spot weezie’s was for us on our honeymoon. This was my second time in caye caulker and I did a lot of research before selecting a place based on location, owner communication, and overall beauty/nature. We felt absolutely welcome by all the staff and loved having our rooms cleaned every day like a true hotel. Danica, Joselin, Sylvan, Aladema (sorry if I spelled names wrong) and all the staff were funny, helpful and made us feel very special. We will absolutely be back to Weezie’s, esp for another watermelon mojito or two. Added bonus- the kitties were so cute and I love visiting places where animals are taken care of. Kudos!
