Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Catanzaro

This was an exceptional stay. The hosts, Sonia and Paolo, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist. From meeting us on a nearby road to guide us to the house, to the clear information (all written and verbal) and recommendations for local restaurants and services; it was above anything we expected or had experienced before. The house was spotless and very comfortable with all amenities and some very generous welcoming gifts including local delicacies. We would recommend this stay highly to anyone visiting the area.

The property is beautifully situated on the mountain, above the village. You have a view of the valley, the sea and the picturesque mountain village. Pietro and his wife were a very likeable couple and helped us at all times. The place is very nice, clean and modern. We were very comfortable! Thank you.

Everything is great

Great place, 5 min. walk to the huge beach, the house is good and clean have all you need. Romano’s family is nice and always help.

Louise was very responsive and an excellent host. The place was very clean and you cannot beat the location. Steps from the beach, coffee shops, and cafe. Having our own garage for parking was a plus! We rented both houses for our family which worked out great since they were next to each other.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Italian country house in Gerace! The house is very well maintained, tastefully furnished, and had everything we needed. The surroundings, with olive trees all around, are absolutely dreamy – perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Mariagrazia and her husband were incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, and their tips for restaurants and local spots were truly great. All in all, we can absolutely recommend this place – and we would love to come back!

I spent close to 2 weeks recently at Laura’s place and I must say I found the home to be pleasantly immaculate in every way. The pictures she posted of the homes interior were just the way I found it upon my arrival. Everything was operational, modern, up to date, sanitary, convenient with the use of electronic keys, gate openers and WiFi; the place was obviously well kept. Although not absolutely necessary, a car is very helpful to get about for shopping and enjoying the nearby beaches as it is very pleasantly secluded and quiet. I hope everyone doesn’t rush out too often and too long to stay at this place, as I will be looking to come back for future visits if the home is available…thank you very much Laura!

Carmela was helpful and very attentive, a property with a lovely garden. Our studio apartment had a terrace from which you could see the sea. The location of her apartment is truly strategic, allowing you to move around easily and reach both the beautiful city of Tropea and the various beaches around.

The stay at Alberto and Gabriella's exceeded expectations. In addition to the absolutely strategic location for visiting the surroundings and the property rich in details and tastefully furnished, the added value is the hosting, the attention they reserve. We were lucky enough to have dinner at the property on the day of our arrival and what can I say? Dinner was really a treat, too. The two-room apartment solution proved to be a winner for our needs! A round of applause for the daily cleaning of the apartment, a very welcome service! When we return to the area, we won't be able to help but stop here again.

The apartment corresponds exactly to Alessandro's descriptions, it is in a quiet area just outside the city. There is no sidewalk for about 500 meters for those who want to walk but a 2-minute drive away there is a large free parking lot at the supermarket so you can leave your car and continue on foot to the historic center. Alessandro is always courteous and helpful. I hope to go back.

We had a great time. The apartment is well equipped. Mario and Natalia welcomed us very warmly. There was extra cake and limoncello, both very delicious. Also, the fridge was filled with milk and juice, coffee capsules,water and tea as well as jam all available. The beach is great. We didn't do much else. Snorkeling there was awesome .

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for exploring Scilla. Loved it!

Everything was beautiful, starting with Elisa's kindness and friendliness. The location is truly beautiful and the sea leaves you speechless. I think we'll be back soon.

We had a great time! Elizaveta was very friendly and always available to help us out. Elio even found a parking spot for us and dropped us off in front of the appartment with our luggage. Both of them went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had a great time. The appartment is in the middle of the historic center and is very cute. You have everything that you need there and everything is in walking distance. I highly recommend!

Also the beach, which we had to ourselves at this time of year. The kitchen is excellent, and we didn't miss anything here. I would strongly recommend it. Thank you for the time.

We had a fantastic stay at Michele‘s apartment. Its in the middle of the old town of Tropea. Michele and his wife were great hosts. Communication was great. We loved the apartment and had a great time in Tropea. We‘d always come back. Thanks for everything!!! BR, Christoph.

The view from the balcony was wonderful! The pictures of this apartment don’t do it justice. The balcony was big enough for two to enjoy coffee or wine. Really felt like a local but had enough restaurants around. Everything was walkable up and down hill. The apartment was not so big, but very comfortable for two. Can’t say much about how the kitchen worked, because who wants to cook when so much Italian food is at your doorstep? However, we were there the day many things closed down at the beginning of November. Still, we found good places to eat. Would recommend this apartment.

We came from Savoy as a family. The accommodation was spacious beyond our expectations with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. The area is peaceful and quiet and has all the necessary amenities. There was even a ping pong table. The hosts were very helpful and available for any request. We had a good exchange, they were even very attentive to us after 11 p.m.! Sincerely, very very far from disappointed, it's a nice and beautiful family. Pleasantly surprised, we'll be back.

Giovanni and Stefania's place, nestled high in the hills with gorgeous views was a lovely place to stay. Very close to the Centro Storico, you can walk through the oldest part on your way down to the piazza. Yep there's a lot of steps up, but it's so worth it and we did it a couple of times a day. Just make sure you know exactly where the access stairs are! Very peaceful, a gorgeous terrazzo overlooking Paola and the ocean. Super clean. Hosts super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here.

The appartment was exactly as in the pictures. Very clean, at a walkable distance from everything (downtown, beaches, restaruants, supermarket). Very spacious and I had everything I need for my stay at Tropea. The host was very friendly and proactive. I travel a lot with my dog and this was the frist time when I received the number of the local vet. If I return to Tropea, I will definitely choose to stay here.

House in an ideal location for visiting the coast of the gods. Pasquale was very kind and very helpful. The house was clean and with everything you need inside. Highly recommended!
