The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

Millaa's getaway

Our comfortable, little, self contained flat is in the heart of Millaa Millaa. It's only walking distance to town , Millaa waterfall and Millaa’s golf club .It is quiet and surrounded by fruit trees and native animals. Only 10 minutes drive and you can enjoy a nice meal from the Teahouse , Pub or Mungalli creek Cafe and on your way home enjoy the beautiful waterfall circuit. We live upstairs and are happy to tell where the best hiking , swimming and sightseeing spots are in the tablelands.

Located in a sleepy little beach town that time forgot. Where ancient palms shade your path and prehistoric creatures still roam the land. The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.
