Vacation rentals with lake access in Casamance

I came to relax and that's just what I did. The balcony had a breathtaking view of the ocean. I was however awakened by the birds each morning a different one almost each time. The beach is within eyesight but further than it appears. In my opinion it's best to drive there especially if it's hot. The security guy was awesome! I think he has lifetime friends in us now. All utensils and supplies are there. My only con would be the water. The electrity had a few issues as well but they worked hard to figure it out. Occasionally the water would be out as well and once we let Joy or security know, it was taken care of. I enjoyed my stay and I appreciate Joy and her crew for their hospitality.

He made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. When our flight was delayed, he graciously allowed us to stay past our checkout time without asking for any extra payment—a true testament to his kindness and hospitality. If you’re looking for a host who genuinely cares about his guests, look no further. Highly recommend staying with Alieu!

lovely place & great host. Only thing is the bedroom and bathroom doors don't close properly but didn't affect nothing neverless many thanks prime. Will definitely stay again🤝🏿

Exceptional service from the team, a huge thank you to Ted and Macan who were very responsive helping us at all stages of the stay. There were frequent power and water outages in the neighborhood, beyond their control, but they did everything to make our stay enjoyable.

I couldn't have asked for more, the place was very clean and my host was excellent. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and comfortable at their place. I felt like family, and indeed now I am family. People like my host are the reason I never want to give up on humankind, yes good people still exist, they are wonderful and their hospitality is excellent. I will definitely be visiting soon and will stay at the same place. I am really grateful for all the love and support while staying at your place in the Gambia. My family and I had a great stay, quiet, a short walk to the beach, a beautiful garden. We were able to observe many species of birds. For meals Nathalie told us very good places. Demba, the caretaker +++ is adorable. Nathalie is frankly a beautiful person, she will most certainly see us again.
