Family-friendly vacation rentals in Carroll County

I rented this Air BNB for my parents for a gift to them. I couldn’t have asked for a more responsive host and they had nothing but phenomenal things to say once arriving home!

Enjoyed our stay the home was cute, inviting and conveniently located to all attractions. Will definitely rent again when we are back in PA. Thanks for offering and allowing us to stay in your home.

Brandon was a wonderful host. As we all know, things happen sometimes that are out of our control. When we arrived at his beautiful home, unfortunately there was a bit of miscommunication with his cleaners (totally not his fault) and they had not showed up that day. I told him right away and he not only got it cleaned while we were out running around, he cleaned it spotlessly himself!! I would give Brandon's home 5 stars because of what an amazing host he is, how clean the home was, location, parking and features of the home. There was more than enough towels, sheets, blankets, etc. We will definitely stay with him again. Thank you Brandon!

The house/pool was gorgeous and had plenty of space for our large family! My only regret was not booking it for few more days!

Sadaf's place is one of the best in terms of amenities, location and security. She's very approachable and friendly. I look forward to another opportunity to stay at her place.

This home was soo beautiful the penthouse looks exactly like the pictures! Getting to the penthouse was a struggle because I took a Lyft and it stopped us in front of the house and I didn’t see the stairwell for me to go up until I walked fully around the place but that’s on me. The stairs were a lot to walk up especially with bags 😂 but you know great exercise. Beds were nice and comfortable the A/C was good some nights but also mainly cold for the other guests but I was okay. WiFi was making the apps act slow but overall we got through it. I love this place I wish I could’ve got in the pool and hot tub but the weather wasn’t right so maybe next time! Thank you For letting us stay at your place!!!! Oh yeah and it’s so beautiful outside with all that land nice place to getaway and chill with your love ones.

It was very nice staying at Stan's cottage. It's like a tiny oasis in this rapid world of technology, and chaos. Very peaceful, quiet, cozy, and clean. CJ greeted us when we arrived, helped us with our bags, and cut fresh flowers for me when we arrived (super sweet). We got great recommendations for restaurants and take out. And finally, it was a true pleasure spending our last minutes with Stan. We enjoyed hearing about his love of travel and of birding...it would have been nice to stay a little longer...we look forward to hearing "the adventures of Stan" someday soon.

It was exactly as Steve described. Every bit of info Steve shared with us was accurate. My son (9) and I took a 2 day trip to catch as many fish as possible. This private deep pond provided fun fishing for my son and I. We caught sun fish, blue gill, large mouth bass, small mouth bass, and a big catfish…that we learned is about 12 years old. Within about 40 minutes there are multiple locations that offer stocked and native trout. We hiked along the stream and enjoyed the panoramic scenic views. It had everything we needed. In all honesty, my wife usually does the prep so when I arrived and realized I had not brought coffee or a pot to cook in, I was pleased to find those items and more. Clean and comfy. It was a nice getaway. Not to promote my social media, but if you want to see videos of the pond and fishing, feel free to check it out on my page. Great location, very walkable! Comfortable beds, hot shower, all around exactly what we were looking for!

We loved our stay in Rafi's place! It was the perfect size for our family of four, with lots of spaces to hang out together or spread out. The kids loved the basement space and games. Beds are comfortable and everything was clean and well stocked. Ample towels and even kid-friendly plates, cups, and utensils. Having the parking pad was clutch, but there is also street parking available. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, with friendly neighbors, and Patterson park is great for playgrounds, walks, and checking out the Pagoda. Easy to get to OPACY / M&T Bank by car (10-15 min), downtown Inner Harbor (5-7 min), Fells Point (10 min). Rafi is a great host. He called to check in and was responsive to all questions.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and in the perfect location, we walked to parks and to pick up bagels. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we could possibly need. Everyone felt immediately at home and comfortable.

Perfect for our girls weekend and we loved getting a chance to see the animals. What a charming place!

Hi, this place was really great with bathrooms on every floor and really nice bedrooms. The only negative I will say is that the stairs are steep and they would not work for anyone with mobility issues. However if you are able-bodied you will enjoy this place. Great value and location and lots of rooms and bathrooms, full kitchen and laundry. Will book again, Thank you ❤️

We enjoyed our stay! It was only for 1 night but it was what we needed after a long day of driving. Dorie was helpful and flexible for our later check in. The proximity to Double Rock Park is perfect! I highly recommend going if you’ve never been. Thanks for a great stay!

The place was charming, well stocked and very comfortable. The communication was great and we would definitely rent again.

We had such an amazing stay at the Woodland retreat. From the instructions to get in as well as the accommodations and even the recommendations Martha had given us, everything was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again if we should return to the area. We loved the privacy as well as the scenery. If you’re looking for a nice little getaway, that’s small private and comfortable. This is absolutely for you. Thank you both again for everything.

Kimberly’s place was a home away from home.. walkable, peaceful, clean environment just like we wanted! We had no issues finding parking right outside the place everyday . Everything we needed was there. She was very responsive. All about Kimberly’s place was just perfect! We had a flawless one month .. surely coming back Kimberly!!

This place is excellent if visiting the area. There are many restaurants and walking paths all close by. The hosts provided lots of information about the surrounding area. I would highly recommend staying here, the hosts did an amazing job answering any questions with had and very timely in responding. This place was immaculate, extremely clean and well thought out with providing storage. The kitchenette was perfect for storing some things in the refrigerator and having a coffee maker available made the mornings easy, and the hosts provided some nice snacks too. The grounds of this home are beautiful and well maintained. A very peaceful setting in a wonderful town. Our stay was excellent and would definitely stay there again.

From the moment we arrived, Eric and his family welcomed us in to their stunning and well equipped home, provided us with everything we needed and gave us great recommendations for local sights, trails and food spots The place itself is spectacular, steeped in history and is impeccably clean. You can lounge by the pool, grill, relax with a drink at night or dine in the lavish dining room - all of which we did and would absolutely do again. FYI considering this place has been in many movies the pictures really do not do it the justice it deserves !!!! Couldn’t have asked for more welcoming, genuine, down to earth hosts or a better location to get away with during unprecedented times - it’s really somewhere where you can balance relaxation with hiking, visiting breweries / cideries, antiquing and even visiting Baltimore in ~20 mins I would 100% recommend the property, the location and our gracious hosts to anyone in future and would hope to go back again some day

The Host the best of the best. Very attentive and very helpful when you need anything. This is the best place I have stayed. The entrance is very safe and easy. The cleanliness in the room and bathroom and the towels are very clean. The calm and peace on another level. I can say that I recommend this place as a 5 star suite and 100% sure

I have stayed here a few times and not only is it a great apartment but she is an amazing host and always looks out for her guests. Looking forward to staying here again.
