Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Carp Lake

We love staying at Ashley’s houses! Awesome location for torch lake and great clean houses with room for a good size group!

We loved this little place! Great use of space, and adorable! We ended up staying during a huge ice storm and lost power. Host was responsive in bringing a generator for heat and a lamp. No cell service if the WiFi isn’t working. Hot tub was great before power went out. Local golf course has good food! Just wish we could have a do over with power! Would stay again!

The place was exactly what we needed for a great getaway trip to Boyne! The set-up was perfect, and the house overall was clean. Would've loved the backyard space to be shoveled to enjoy a fire! Great place to relax, ski, and enjoy the downtown area. Highly recommend.

Very spacious house, plenty of room for 3 families (12 people). The house was very well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of activities to do in the basement also and kept the kids plenty busy! Crystal was very responsive!

The house was immaculate and spacious for the 8 of us. Very comfy beds. We especially enjoyed the breakfast goodies gift they had waiting for us- pancake mix plus maple syrup and honey made on the property!

We absolutely love staying here! The space is comfortable, cozy, and has all the amenities of home. The location is great - only 10–15 minutes from ski hills (or golf in the summer) while also being conveniently located to downtown Petoskey restaurants and shopping. The fenced in backyard is a huge plus for us and our pups. We try to stay here whenever we are able to for our Up North trips!

Taylor was very accommodating. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a note that the some work had to be done on the property, the was almost completed, and she left us a giftcard for the nearby pizza place (definitely recommend the midwesterner there fyi) which is entirely unnecessary, though a very kind act. The work being done on the property did not Impact our stay one bit! The hot tub was lovely, especially on Sunday when we got to sit out there while it snowed around us. The fireplace was extremely cozy and one of our favorite features! We unfortunately missed ice fishing season, though found out from locals at Burt Lake where to buy some new fishing rods. Very friendly neighbors! Burt Lake took us only 7 min to walk to as well! Also walkable to a nearby brewery, grocery store at the corner though also could walk to for maybe 10 Min, liquor store probably 10 min walk as well. Wonderful location! Highly recommend!

It was absolutely beautiful. The trees had just changed colors and it was such a nice view! It was quiet and private. During business hours, you can hear the wine tasting room but that didn’t bother me at all. We stopped in and the staff were super friendly and helpful. So happy to have visited. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

Angela’s place was amazing! When we walked in, we were in awestruck by how classy the furniture selections and decorating were. Also, this was probably the cleanest Air BNB we have stayed in. Angela was very communicative, and she provided great recommendations for places to dine. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening, with the reflection of the full moon over the bay…so cool! We would love to come back to the area, and this place will certainly be our first choice for places to stay!

We enjoyed our stay while in town to ski. Easy walking distance to restaurants for a person that enjoys walking, even in the cold. Thanks for letting us stay in your cute airbnb!! Don and Jill

Accessible, convenient and clean. This spot is a 5 minute walk from downtown Walloon and the perfect accommodation for a short weekend visit. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and only 15 or so minutes from downtown Petoskey! Would stay again for next year’s floral workshop!

We had a great stay for a winter ski trip. 20 min to Boyne highlands. Airbnb itself is very well stocked and well maintained. Host was responsive. One thing to keep in mind is there is a steep staircase to get to the unit that I imagine may not be suitable for all.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Samantha’s place. It was close to everything for the wedding weekend and was very comfy.

Gorgeous view as soon as we pulled in. The grounds were beautiful and the building's were very pretty. Our suite was roomy, decorated simply and very clean. We had everything we needed for our stay and Mary even left us a small loaf of delicious banana bread! When we arrived it was much colder than anticpated and I was worried since the suite didnt have A/C or heating but Mary had several space heaters in the rooms and already had them on so it was a cozy temp when we walked in. Just really, really happy with the space. We would definitely rent again. Thank you!

My husband and I had rented the cabin for three nights. We pulled up and the place was amazing. We opened the door and fell in love. We had such a great first night. We were able to bring our 9 month old puppy, who for the first time ran into the water, ran around the woods and was loving life!! She had everything there you needed. Everything was great until around 10:30 PM and a major ice storm started. unfortunately, we had to leave the next morning ASAP but Katy was very understandable, helpful, and concerned about us being safe. It had been the worst ice storm that they had in the area in over 20 years. We were lucky we were able to get out of some of the roads because so many roads were covered with trees and live wire lines down. The place is absolutely lovely. The area is lovely. Can’t wait to go back and hopefully get a full stay in. I wouldn’t change a thing at this cabin. Tracie, Marc & George

Awesome place, perfect location for families staying in Walloon lake. Walking distance to the water, bars, restaurants, etc. Hot tub was nice touch!

Wow, Sturgeon’s Return is such a charming cabin! 🏠 We were lucky to stay here during fall, and the cozy atmosphere was just perfect for our trip. The vintage decor gave it so much character, I loved it so much, and Stacey had thoughtfully provided all the amenities we could possibly need. 🍁 We had an amazing time and honestly didn't want to leave! 🥰 Can't wait to come back - this place is an absolute gem! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beth's cabin is the perfect spot to relax! She was amazing with accommodating last minute plans to spend Easter with my family, the cabin and property were clean and tidy, great communication and instructions were provided, easy to find but still private, and located centrally to many places and activities. There weren't any TVs in the cabin (which we thought was great), but there is wifi that worked flawlessly and could be used to stream on a tablet/laptop. Her cabin was stocked with all the household items you'd expect. Beds were comfortable, water heater and furnace work great. Beautiful and peaceful place to get away!
