We stayed at a few places in Italy this summer, coming from Rome to Napoli and finally Fabio's place in the South. I have to say this was my favourite stay. The place is very private, easy to access, close to other local beaches if you have a car. Fabio's dad was so welcoming, made us feel right at home. The house has all the amenities needed and is clean and easy to maintain. This is a fantastic place if you have children. Hopefully we will be back 🙂

Gherly's place is surrounded by nature, it's simple but has everything you need, and it has a beautiful ocean view! From the balcony we could dine watching the sunset! It has a private beach with an umbrella and deckchairs and you can access it on foot or by car. The beach is truly beautiful! Gherly is charming, always willing and even offered us a late check-out that allowed us to have a quiet breakfast and leave without rushing, too bad we couldn't take advantage of it longer because we had to continue our trip. In my opinion, a car is necessary, but if you like to walk, the train station is not far away. I recommend it 100%! Thank you Gherly, we had an amazing time!

A perfect location and a beautiful house! We wished we had booked for longer. The views were incredible with the most beautiful sunsets. Maria was the perfect host - really helpful and so welcoming. The house was spotless and charming - we felt totally at home during our stay. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a lovely stay at Marco’s amazing home on the beach. What made our 4 days stay extra special in the downstairs apartment was the very comfortable bed, the new kitchen with everything we needed, the ample outdoor space and the beautiful beach right in front of us.

The apartment and location was better than expected. We had not been to Tropea before and did not have a good sense of the town layout. We were ideally located, a very short walk to the old town all the restaurants, cafes and shops. The apartment has wonderful large balcony that provides the best sunset view - why fight the crowds? Sunset aperitivo on the balcony was a highlight. Access to the station is also good, although it is a long walk with bags (15 min) - easy downhill from the station, more challenging heading up the hill. Lidia was a great host, provided very responsive help for checkin and was available and responsive throughout our short 4 day visit. The apartment is well set up with all the advertised amenities. One minor downside was that the apartment is opposite a popular bar that can be noisy until late. Fortunately the windows and apartment were quite well sound proofed. We had a wonderful stay in Tropea. Thank you Lidia for hosting us!

Pasqual was an amazing host always responsive and very friendly, we loved the olive oil from his Olive grove and all the local pate and onions and spreads that you can purchase and it makes for great gifts. The views were breathtaking and the dogs enjoyed the grounds and freedom so did our daughter while climbing the olive trees daily. Perfect family getaway we will definitely be back. A beautiful and peaceful place above Capo Vaticano with a breathtaking view. The hosts are kind and welcoming, and there’s a great restaurant right on site with delicious food. Surrounded by nature and farm animals, it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Highly recommended!

Girolamo's house is a paradise: spacious and extremely clean! The amenities inside and out are high quality and tidy. The outdoor area is also spacious and very well maintained, we sat very comfortably outside - whether by the pool or under the large roof - wonderful! The pool is of course a pleasant luxury. It's the best vacation home we've ever had in Calabria. The surroundings are quiet, supermarket close by, beach and restaurants can be reached by car in a few minutes. Girolamo is so hospitable - thank you! There was always nice, easy contact. It is important to him that his guests are doing well. The reception was extremely warm - with drinks in the fridge and food in the closet. Actually, we never wanted to leave... ;-) Thank you for this special and beautiful accommodation and the warmth!
