Big Drop Surf House is ideally located a short walk to Playa Maderas. Well equipped and comfortable, staying here you will feel part of the Maderas community. Gaby is a very responsive and resourceful host. The local restaurants/beach bars are great, close, and have delicious food.

Home away from home. Great spot to work remotely, beautiful sunsets, beach walks, surfing spots 5 min walk down the beach. Unreal spot, wish it was more of a secret, but gotta support the beautiful spot what Corey has created!

El apartamento de Mariella es muy cómodo, completamente equipado, con buenos acabados y el mobiliario muy bonito. Todo lo que se ofrece se encuentra en muy buen estado, no tuvimos problemas con el internet ni aires acondicionados. El edificio y las áreas comunes bien cuidadas y limpias, buena atención del personal de seguridad. La vista a la playa desde el apartamento es muy bella. Me encantó que tiene acceso directo a la playa y en una zona limpia y bastante solitaria. Totalmente satisfechos con el lugar y la atención de Mariella..

Cristina's place was great. Fantastic location close to everything and very peaceful. The apartment complex is new and everything about the place felt like I was using it for the first time. She was very responsive and I would not have any hesitation to staying at her place again. Everything I noticed about San Juan de Sur was great. I felt very safe at all times.

Absolutely better than the pictures. Great stay. On the beach. Safe! Peaceful! Well kept! If you want the beach and serenity this is it !

The location is perfection, fit exacrly what i was looking for of waking up and stepping onto sand and sleeping to the sound of the waves. Martin the host is a gem, very attentive responsive and kind

Claudia and James were my saving grace when I was stranded in SJDS without a place to stay during the busy Semana santa weekend. I am very grateful they were able to take me in at the last minute and took me under their wings during my short stay. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a memorable one. I can’t thank them enough. I will definitely be back to their property next time I visit SJDS. Don’t hesitate to book your stay at their place. Their property has an incredible view of the bay and it’s famous sunsets, within walking distance to everything in town but far enough away to be able to get a good night’s sleep. James also teaches surf and yoga and they are adding more amenities to their beautiful property. Muchas gracias por todo amigos!!!

Unbelievable location. Right on the beach in front of an amazing break. House is open and beautiful. Perfect indoor outdoor living. Just absolutely beautiful. We had an amazing week and fell in love with the community there. It’s a very special place and James is an excellent host- very responsive. We hope to be back!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour familial chez Cristina. Nous étions un grand groupe de 16 personnes et nous avons été bien accueillis par l’ensemble du staff. La maison était fidèle aux photos et même mieux! Les cuisinières nous ont préparé des repas incroyables ! Nous avons très bien mangé Je recommande à 10000%

We had a great stay at la Bahia! Spacious home with nice pool only a few steps from the beach and town of San Juan del Sur. Special mentions to Veronica and Feliciano for always being available for our questions and needs. Be careful with the electricity usage. We had to pay a fee for exceeding the electricity allowance. We would come back anytime!

Ich habe mich im Salitre sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich durfte sogar meine Sachen vor dem Check-In in den Kühlschrank stellen. Das Haus ist geräumig, gut eingerichtet und verfügt über alles,was man braucht. Zum Strand sind es nur 2 Minuten Gehweg.Toll fand ich,dass ich meinen kleinen Hund unkompliziert mitbringen durfte.Die Verwalter kümmern sich herzlich.Insgesamt habe ich mich sehr wohl im Haus gefühlt. Ich komme sehr gern wieder ins Salitre...

This was our 3rd trip to Playa Remanso, but the first time staying at this house. The house is wonderful, beautifully laid out and with an awesome view. Most of our time was spent on the patio and in the gorgeous infinity pool. The beach is only steps away and the hardest decision of the day is whether you go to the beach or hang out in the pool. Playa Remanso is getting very popular (for good reason) and there is some construction around, but the new highway is done and makes it super convenient to get to. We've stayed in other houses owned by Ksenia and her staff is always beyond compare! Whether it be cooking or cleaning, the always do a fantastic job! I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to make a trip to Playa Remanso.

We had an incredible experience staying at Karen’s place! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The highlight was definitely the beautiful pool—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for lounging during the day. Plus, having easy access to the beach made the stay even more special. The caretakers, Erick & Jessica were phenomenal…very attentive, polite, and helpful. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in seamless. We were pleasantly surprised and entertained by her the three macaws that live on property. Whether you’re looking to unwind by the pool or enjoy the sand and waves, this place is perfect. I highly recommend it and would love to return!

El lugar fue increíble. Muy buena atención por parte del host, todas las dudas y peticiones nos fueron atendidas. La parrilla que tienen es con gas así que no es necesario llevar carbón, la piscina estaba algo sucia en un inicio pero la limpiaron en cuanto avisamos. La habitación principal tiene una vista hacia al mar 10/10.

J ai adoré mon séjour l endroit est formidable. Le balcon donne une très belle vue sur l océan et les coucher de soleil sont a couper le souffle. Le spot est parfait pour aller surfer et profiter pleinement de la plage et la piscine. Pour se rendre au village il est préférable de se louer une petite bicyclette, moto ou kart de golf ! Il est certain que j y retourne l année prochaine!

We were really happy with this apartment. It was very well equiped and Roberta though about even the smallest details like the options to hang the wet clothes and all the equipment in the kitchen . Roberta solved every problem we had along the way ( we had just a few) as fast as possible and we always had a fast answer from her. Marisol, the lady that came to clean was so nice and professional. We really liked her. The swimming pool was always clean and ready to use 😁.

La maison était magnifique, impeccable et tranquille. Un peu à l’écart du centre-ville, nous avions une voiture ce qui a facilité les déplacements, sans cela c’est un peu loin des restos. Cette maison en vaut la peine! Belle vue aussi sur la baie à partir du balcon.

Excelente lugar, muy bonito y organizado todo, lo recomiendo, la playa está muy cerca y el hospedaje 10:10 Billie y su esposa fueron super amables.

Très bel emplacement et literie confortable dans la chambre principale. Les matelas de la deuxième chambres pourraient être changés. Tout le reste est très bien. Nous reviendrons.

Tom was super responsive, had a WiFi issue, he was all over it. Great place to stay, would love to go back.

This location is perfect if you want to be close to town and right on the main beach strip of San Juan Del Sur. The decor is fabulous and the suite was well equipped with kitchen utensils as well as a good supply of towels for the bathroom and the beach. Nolan was easy to deal with and kindly accomodated some changes we required.

Amazing place just for steps away from the beach and the beach club! Our host Silvio and Mario where always super attentive and responsive to all our needs and inquiries. Would highly recommend staying here and will definetly be coming back! We had a blast!
