We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beachfront home with our extended family, including a total of 6 adults and 5 kids. We had two additional adults spend one night, there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a group of our size. The location is unbeatable, right on Drakes Island Beach, with incredible views and direct access to the sand. While we didn’t go in the water, we spent plenty of time relaxing on the beach, walking along the shore, and enjoying the peaceful setting. The home was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. The large deck and open living spaces gave us plenty of room to spend time together and unwind. This was a perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway, and we’d absolutely return again. Highly recommended!

Jeffrey’s guest house is super special, it was amazing to be able to look out every window to experience coastal Maine and so serene and peaceful. Located on a beautiful property right on the bay in a wooded setting. Very private and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay - in fact we extended it another 3 days to be able to enjoy it longer. Jeffrey was very accommodating and even credited us for the 2nd cleaning fee charged by Airbnb because we needed to change our payment method for the extended stay. I can’t say enough about the comfy bed!! I felt like I was sleeping in a cloud with super soft sheets and perfect mattress. I wish all Airbnb hosts were as thoughtful about the personal touches as Jeffrey. I had to work a bit during the trip and the internet was very stable and easy to connect to. It was a perfect retreat for us. Highly recommend staying here! We will. Definitely will Return!

By far one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at. Superb location, beautiful river view in front and forest view (with trails) in back. Plenty of garden space to run around in with the kid(s). And only a 5-minute drive into quaint and charming Bath. The place itself was beautifully laid out, with so much space and comfort. Pip was always available, efficient and kind and to communicate with. Cannot recommend this place enough if you’re looking respite in nature, comfort in home, and proximity to town.

We loved our time staying here, the house was beautiful and just as described/ seen in the pictures. Randy was a great host and always very responsive with some great local recommendations. Would definitely love to return!

We stayed for eight days and loved it! It surpassed our expectations and the open floor plan allowed our three generation family to spend great time just talking and spending quality time together. We were met with some great snacks when we arrived which came into handy after a long day of traveling from the west coast. We were captivated by the beautiful landscape including amazing eagles plunging into the waters and catching fish. The changing tides meant the landscape and natural activities were always providing a new show to enjoy. We loved everything about this stay and would highly recommend it!

Such a charming and pretty place to stay in Portland for a long weekend- Beautifully decorated and lovely touches throughout inside and outside. Great location which was walkable to wonderful restaurants (Eventide and The Front Room were delicious). Also easy drives to numerous hikes in the area which we loved. So glad we found it for Memorial Day weekend!

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Glenn Mary Jane’s place. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the apartment had plenty of amenities. We enjoyed walking to the bakery across the street for breakfast and it was also a short walk to Willard Beach. The neighborhood was beautiful, peaceful and colorful. Overall the location was superb and Glenn Mary Jane was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

There's so much that can be said about this place and the area. We stayed for a week and barely scratched the surface of what's available to do. Within 15-20 minutes of driving, you'll find both sand and rocky waterfronts to explore, Island ferries, forest hiking, and countless amazing restaurants. Coming back to this place after each day of exploring felt like coming home to rest and recharge for the next day. Comfortable places to sit/sleep, conveniently supplied snacks, and great material to review what to put on your list for the next day. Please take my advice and stay here if you want to have a peaceful and fruitful stay in the Portland, ME area.

Adorable, idyllic, comfortable, serene. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our Maine Minimoon! Some places have 5 stars and aren’t really legit — this is not one such place. Hillary’s place fully deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We look forward to staying again soon!!

We were very happy with the quiet neighborhood. The house was spacious, clean and welcoming. Parking off street was a plus. We will definitely revisit this Airbnb.

This is the perfect stay for two people for a getaway in Portland! You'll get a quiet spot in a nice neighborhood that is walkable to anything you would want to do or see in town. Sharon and Eric were awesome hosts and their place was a great place to recharge each day after being out and about in Portland. Highly recommend you book here!

Our stay at The Bee Keepers Cottage was amazing. The property met our needs perfectly and it was super cute and cozy. The host was very responsive and communicative. And for any star gazers out there, the sky on a clear night is mesmerizing.

The apartment is a great size and price, especially for the proximity to the beach. We were on the ground floor and I was initially worried about noise but it was very quiet. Parking is super convenient and the full sized washer and dryer were very much appreciated at the midway point of our road trip. The place is as pictured and located with very easy access to Scarborough, and a short drive to Portland.

I would recommend it 100%

Such a cozy place! I was on a trip alone and I felt so comfortable and safe. Definitely a place I’m booking next time I’m back in Maine.

Great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown but with a larger, comfortable space. The place is exactly as described, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. No dollar store products here! The ground coffee and half and half really made it feel like we were staying at a friend’s home.

Absolutely lovely place ! We would definitely recommend it. Very clean and easy to find with a great view! Understandable that people can’t go into private docks and property we just wished there had been a place to sit outside by the water - the view is spectacular and none of us had even heard of Badgers Island before - next time we want to walk the island a bit more than we did! Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed here 3x so far and will always come back. This place is such a unique stay with live music right below. You can open the balcony doors and see and hear the ocean. The home is always clean and feels very homey. We truly love it here and will always choose to stay at this airbnb.
