Araba Villa. A serene and peaceful setting.

Great stay. Joseph the caretaker was great help getting my driver to the location, as he met us at the junction to guide us in. The place is in a secluded neighborhood, and is beyond quiet. I've stayed in many places in Ghana, and none quite as quiet and serene as this home. The birds are the only noise in the vicinity, I didn't hear anyone sweeping (which generally doesn't bother me), no calls to prayer or all night revivals from neighboring religious institutions. The place was clean and well kept. The look is elegant but African modern and very comfortable. The living room/hall areas are plush and comfortable, the fans and lighting is superb in both the hall areas and the bedrooms. There are motion detector and various setting lights in all the rooms, providing different experiences as your needs desire. I definitely enjoyed the blue lighting in the bedrooms and main stair case at night, easy on the eyes. The kitchen was practical and there were no issues with the accommodations once we got to the market to get food. A great, peaceful, and comfortable experience. Will definitely stay here again the next time I'm passing through cape coast/elmina. It's truly a jewel.
A spacious sleeping area is equipped with a bed featuring floral bedding. A simple table and chair are present against one wall. Light-colored curtains drape over a nearby window, allowing natural light to filter into the room.

Cozy private large bedrooms and private washrooms.

The place was quiet and relaxing. The room is spacious, the orthopedic mattress and the private bathroom clean. The hosts are welcoming and organized. We particularly appreciated the tour of the city's mythical places, the delicious food, private transportation, and the presence of a young guide as soon as we arrived in Cape Coast. All in the form of an extra service that was available at the time of our stay. It was an extra effort but it was worth it. Great and unforgettable stay. We thank the entire Afro-Centric Team! I recommend this home to anyone visiting Cape Coast or Elmina. The Host, the Staff and Owner are all excellent people. The location is awesome. Just a few yards from the Sea with a great breeze throughout the day. If your are looking for peace this is the place to be.
A bright room features a single bed with colorful bedding and a small table. Two wicker chairs are positioned nearby, complementing the wooden wardrobe. Natural light filters through large windows adorned with patterned curtains, highlighting the airy and spacious feel of the room.

Nkwa Foundation Home Stay

Want connections with a Ghanaian family? Traveling alone? Want a little extra help navigating a new culture? This is the place for you. Ramsy went out of his way to make sure every part of my trip went well, from contacting a local carpenter, to helping me with a phone card, to helping us find the local bus to Kakum. He and his wife made sure I had food that worked for me, cool clean water and help to understand the local culture. Their lovely children brought fun and laughter into my days. I will definitely stay here again on future trips.
An expansive view of the ocean is visible from the large balcony, framed by a well-maintained compound. A two-story building with several windows captures natural light, while nearby structures and palm trees provide a tropical ambiance against the sky dotted with clouds.
