We felt super comfortable. The decor was very modern and well maintained, everything was very clean. Parking is right outside the door. The apartment is very light-flooded and you still have your privacy, as the windows are all facing an undeveloped area. By car you can make day trips to both Coimbra and Aveiro and the beach is also only 30 minutes away. Cantanhede itself is also quite large and offers everything you need. In the living room, the ceiling height is a little lower, which means that very tall people have to duck a little, but for a stay of a few days, I think you can live with it.

If you are near Mira, I highly recommend Big Fish's apartment. It immediately feels at home with this wonderful host. She wants to make you feel very comfortable. We couldn't discover any downsides. In a word, great.

We had a great time in this wonderful place and immediately felt very comfortable. The cottage is very cozy and tastefully furnished. The location right by the sea was really perfect, so that the children could also play alone on the beach. Although we also had quite a lot of rain, we could enjoy the Atlantic Ocean and an almost empty beach to the fullest. Alexandre was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks for the hospitality!

Even though it is listed as being in Figueira da Foz, it is actually in the neighbourhood of Buarcos. Much better. More authentic. You are steps away from the beach. Daniel and Elisabete are a nice, hardworking couple. Very friendly. The place is perfect, quiet and in the old part of town. You are within the old remparts. Nice walks and beach strolls all around. Lidl supermarket 5 minutes away. The terrace is beautiful. Big plus. I definitely recommend this place.
