Lovely apartment with lots of light. There is no lift but our room was on the first level. It was warm and clean with lots of space in general and lots of interesting Spanish books. Great location on a beautiful area. Walkable.

Alberto's place was lovely. We hiked up from Ruta del Cares and stayed for two nights. We enjoyed a long hike through the Picos de Europa on our full day and came back to a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening. The location is ideal for accessing the mountains however the paths are very rough to the east side of the village up to Urriellu. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Would stay here again :)

Très bel hôtel dans le style local. Je n'avais juste pas anticipé le prix du petit déjeuner de 20€ par personne.

Ana's place was very centric and close to many amenities. Several cafes, grocery stores, banks, restaurants, and train/bus station all within a 5-10 minute walk. The room is next to a major road so there is a lot of traffic noise during the day but it gets quieter by night. Ana is a good host and very fast at responding to your questions.

Un precioso hotel a las afueras de Santillana. Aunque llegamos un poco antes de tiempo, la habitación ya estaba preparada y, al salir después de dejar el equipaje, nos recibió una maravillosa caniche color canela (creo que formaba parte del equipo de seguridad) que acompañaba a los trabajadores mientras hacían sus cosas. Muy pet friendly. Después de pasar una noche muy cómoda, desayunamos muy bien y, de nuevo, muy bien acompañados por dos gatos de la familia. En resumen: un hotel muy agradable en el que vale la pena quedarse más de una noche.

Miguel tarda muy poco en responder, cuando llegas allí te recomienda sitios donde encontrar desde lo más básico (farmacias, cafeterías, autoservicios) hasta actividades propias de Cantabria. Recomiendo mucho coger el apartamento si buscáis algo para desconectar de la rutina.

The place was great and excellent value. Basic but comfortable with very friendly staff. It was easy to find and was within walking distance of Potes. Lovely view of the mountains from the huge balcony and very easy to get to Fuente De. Breakfast at €5 was very good. Parking was super easy. We would definitely stay again. Would recommend bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper as the walls are quite thin as others have mentioned. Also a small lamp or night light would be useful as there are none at the bedside. N.B. lots of restaurants/bars in Potés are closed on Monday/Tuesdays which meant we didn't get the full experience of Potés but we still managed to try some fabada and sidra. The town is very pretty.

My stay at Hotel Balcon de la Bahia in Santander was fantastic. The staff was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The modern and clean structure of the hotel added to the overall pleasant experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in this beautiful city.

Adoramos o lugar , Mas um funcionário Sérgio , que fez nosso checkin , por alguma “ razão “ nos orientou erradamente dizendo que o Museu é às cavernas da região ( a razão de estarmos lá ) não estariam abertas . Estavam !!! Por que ele mentiu ? Achei que para que ficássemos no spa do Hotel. Não acreditando nele vimos horários no museu e cavernas e conseguimos visitar. Isso foi errado , pode ter prejudicado outras pessoas , espero que corrijam isso.

El apartamento es según las fotos, el anfitrión respondió nuestras días antes de llegar, Lis niños estuvieron también muy a gusto. Gracias por todo!

Ángela, Raul y Jerai, nos han encantado conocerlos. Nos ha gustado muchísimo su alojamiento y el entorno tan bonito donde está. La posada es espectacular y el paisaje del amanecer es increíble. Te levantas con el canto del gallo y viendo a las vacas de lejos en los prados. Mil gracias a Raúl por habernos recomendado la ruta para continuar de regreso a casa. Os recomendaremos y volveremos nuevamente. Mucha suerte en vuestro camino de super anfitriones.

Merci Anna d'avoir été une hôte remarquable depuis la réservation jusqu'à notre départ. L'emplacement de la maison est idéal pour un séjour en famille avec des pistes accessibles pour tout le monde et des plages discrètes. Nous avons apprécié une semaine en toute tranquillité et reviendrons avec plaisir en Asturies.

Alba was fantastic! Her house was beautiful and she was the best host! My GPS kept taking me to incorrect location… she went out of her way to help me find the house and even offered to come find me and direct me back. Wonderful host! Highly recommend!

La casa rural de Basi est magnifique, très confortable et au calme dans un beau petit village avec une vue à couper le souffle. Chambre spacieuse et très bien décorée où on se sent tt de suite chez soi.

We have had a good stay at Rosalina’s place. The bed was good and everything very clean. The breakfast was good and including the price. Dinner was nice, you could chooze from the card in even our own language (Dutch) and for a nice price. From the room with a kind of balcony we had a nice view of the green surrounding and we could here the cows with bells somewhere not far from the house. It was a nice stay! Thank you very much!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft von Yolanda. Mit der Hilfe ihrer Söhne, konnten sehr gute Empfehlungen für die Gegend gegeben werden, da die Söhne ins Englische übersetzen konnten. Das Essen von Yolanda war sehr lecker und auch in Englisch auf der Karte. Die Ruhige Lage der Unterkunft war ausgezeichnet und Sie ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in den Picos.
