Numerous hiking trails are within 5-15 mins. The Shaker Village and Mascoma Lake are 10 mins away. Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth College are an easy 30 minute drive to the east. Going west, it's a quick but picturesque drive to Lake Sunapee Beach State Park (27 minutes) and the quaint town of New London, NH.

Over 700 ft of private shoreline offers a unique opportunity to experience the Pemigewasset River. The shallow riverbank offers accessibility to most guests. 3 kayaks are available for even more fun! The expansive backyard is perfect for yard games, to lounge in the shade of the trees or to toast marshmallows at the fire pit. With 5 separate sleeping areas and 3 full baths guests have ample space to call their own. All living spaces are adorned with plush furnishings to ensure your comfort!

Cozy Woodland Cabin

If you seek rustic solitude, you'll love the cozy woodland cabin, a pine-paneled one-room cabin nestled in a meadow surrounded by forest and fields, +/- 2 blocks from the house and road. Weather permitting, vehicles can drive to the cabin. Cabin has electricity and heat, but NO running water. Outhouse behind cabin has a Nature's Head composting toilet. Guests may shower in a private bathroom in the main house. Breakfast included. This is "glamping" at its most comfortable and private.

You can snow shoe from the front door and skiing, hiking, boating, shopping are minutes away from our quiet home on a New Hampshire scenic byway. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with 1 or two small children are welcome. We have a small sofa bed and a pack and play sleeper in addition to a king bed with a luxury mattress.
